Wow, those things are more popular than I would have thought.  A GIS for 'nascar golf cart' pulled up quite a few hits.  Wow.

It's not a trailer park, subtard, those are for losers!
It's called a mobile home park, like the article says, because we're MO-BILE.
Even us movers and shakers gotta park some times, so we go to a mobile....home...park!
That's where we, uh, unhitch our homes so we don't have to...errrrr...trailer them to the...well, everywhere.

No matter how rich you are you are an idiot if you buy an $18,000 golf cart. That goes double if you buy a golf cart this expensive and live in a farking trailer.

Golf, America's next great motor sport.

You can quote me on that.

These upscale trailer courts are pretty popular in Florida. They are gated communities with security where only the resident's vehicles are allowed. They won't take just anybody, you have to submit your financials to a board before they allow you to be a member. The trailers are not cheap, most of them are built better and are more upscale than most houses. A lot of these places have maintained garden pathways and the main method of transportation is a golf cart. Since most of the members are well to do, and don't have dick all to do and all day to do it in, the golf carts become another tool in their never ending games of one-up-manship. Sort of like a yuppie who goes out and buys a Jaguar even though he takes the train to work.

Do those types of trailer parks still make tornadoes happy?

Only the better sort of tornado, obviously.  F-3 and up please, and super-outbreaks need not apply.

Have you priced golf carts lately? It's about $5K for a plain one. And if you want a gas motor it's about $1K more. I would never pay that much for a golf cart but they are pretty damn handy when you have lots of property.

I did not know what a golf cart cost  and that's maybe a little higher than I was thinking but this one cost three times that.  Not really the greatest investment especially if you live in a trailer.

Well in the article the picture of the golf cart shows it has extra seats and a rear cargo bed. It's also parked next to what looks like a bunch of ground equipment so I am guessing that it belonged to the actual park, and not some beer swilling resident. If you live in a place that only allows travel by golf cart then I am guessing it's a pretty good investment. It's not too bad either when your "yard" is measured in acres and not square feet.

So much funnier when you realize why they are called mobile homes.

We have a seasonal campsite and use a golf cart to get around camp.  Its not your average golf cart and everyone there has one.

First place I would look is Bushwood Country Club.
