(Huffington Post)   Fundamentalist Muslim group vows to wage a holy war using a child army "commanded by Muhammad." Just kidding. Replace "Muslim" with "Christian" and "Muhammad" with "Christ," and you've got the actual story   (huffingtonpost.com) divider line 176

TappingTheVein: Serious Black: It might surprise you to hear that a lot (probably somewhere just short of all) of those 5-year-old children carrying person-borne IEDs have been coerced into carrying them.

Oh i know exactly what fundamentalist muslims are doing with children. The children in the video i linked were not coerced to anything, their families probably consider it a great honor.
I was amused by the comparison of the christians to the muslims' mentality when their own children (not teens) are involved.

Russky: Like the LRA's forced recruitment through abduction?

Nope, these children were not abducted.

That's not the only way they are recruited.....bury your head in the sand some more.

Did they ever explain what C4 actually stood for?

I mean, besides the not-so-subtle nod to explosives.

Target Builder: The video begins with a parade of teens staring into the camera, asking questions, including: Why can't I pray in school? You can pray when you wake up in the morning, you can pray while you get ready, you can pray before, during and after breakfast, you can pray while you wait for the bus, you can pray on the bus, you can pray during your lunch break as long as you're not shutting other kids out of school resources, as long as you're doing it silently you can pray during class even though you should be paying attention to the teacher, you can pray while waiting for the bus to take you home after school, you can pray on the bus home and you can pray when you get home.

The only prayer you're not allowed to do during the school day is prayer that involves the school officially sanctioning your religious activity and/or requires other kids to take part.

You'd think if they TRULY believed in God, they wouldn't need a teacher to tell them how or when to pray.

Tatsuma: NostroZ: Get real.
Is the subby afraid of some teenage girls talking about Christ?

Yep, people quacking in their books over teenagers saying 'I want to talk about G-d in school! And be respected for not having sex before marriage!'

It's the end of the world as we know it.

Oh please... Tatsuma just wants more backwards-ass Bible-thumping conservative Christian right-wingers eager to funnel money to Israel in order to bring on the end-times.

Tatsuma: You better start going after these terrorist Jews, because they have cells in every major city in America, in every State, and in almost every country. They call themselves 'an Army' and they make their children sing songs like this:

From 770 we're marching out, on to victory without a doubt
To corners four we're marching happily
Nation after nation we are conquering

They call their official vehicles 'tanks'. They have their own flag. They were a uniform. They are willing to drop everything at the drop of a hat and live the rest of their lives in Siberia or in the middle of Africa if asked to. They will give over their lives for their mission. They are fundamentalist who believe in one G-d and following him above all. They pledge allegiance and follow one leader and one leader only, and it ain't Obama but rather their Rebbe. They value religious law even above secular law!

Quake in fear, America, for Lubavitchers are out to conquer the world with their army!

Aaaaaahhhh, they want me to lay Tefillin again!!

/Seriously though Tats, Christianity has been shown to be a danger when it has a interest in controlling people with a non-secular government
//All religions seem to have this flaw
///Your religious life should be your own, but control of others who don't agree with your beliefs shouldn't be your concern to control.

Richard C Stanford: For the 50-billionth time, Jesus was NOT a zombie...ah forget it.

He was alive, then died, then reanimated after a relatively short period, converts people to his own form through a ritual involving the consumption of (symbolic, but still) human flesh, and continually hungers for the souls of the living.

That's pretty classic zombie there.  Though, given that zombies were invented in the 1950s-ish, perhaps it's more accurate to say that zombies are Jesuses.

Actually it's more 'Noooo they want me to dance so more and drink more shots of free vodka whhhyyyyy'

/I get your point, but these people are not saying this at all, they just want America's youth to go back to more wholesome values, from their point of view

From the video: "My grandparents tell me that the church, used to be the center of the community."

People lie kid.

Yeah, they get a little disappointed when I tell them I don't drink liquor, lol.

Problem is that their idea of "wholesome values" infringes upon others. They don't want "The freedom to pray" in class (which they already have), they want the freedom to have homeroom instead be 'peer pressure prayer indoctrination class' (pressuring the non-Christians & non-practicing Christians to either leave the class [which will single them out for evangelism later] or pray with the group), they want science class to delete all mentioning of things that contradicts their religious worldview, and they want school events (graduation, school sports games, assemblies, ect) to be 'evangelize to the non-Christians group session'.  These more "wholesome values" they tout is stuff they want forced upon people (especially people not of their own faith) and not just convince them of it, otherwise they would just be patient enough for people to visit the endless amount of churches Christians have for non-Christians to choose from.

Tatsuma: Now anyone who knows anything about Chabad will look at my post and chuckle at

Well that's exactly what is happening with that video. In no way do the people in that article plan to get weapons and fight wars and do anything like that, they have an army the same way 'spiritual warfare' will happen on 9/11 during a prayer day.

It has nothing to do with violence and to be scared of those people is just ridiculous. You might as well be terrorized by Chabad, because they are better organized and there a hundred thousand of them at least out there, and with the number of children they are having, we're looking at half a million by 2050.

It is not fear we feel when we see videos like this, it is pity.

Ratings and comments disabled at YouTube.  Can't handle criticism?  Go fark yourself!

As for the Vice story on HBO, it was mentioned multiple times that these militant mullahs have been lying to the children about:  what happens to them (they're told the bombs are directional and they will survive), and their reward in paradise I'm not a religious scholar but there were multiple mentions about suicide being against the Koran.

It's like the skinheads, they indoctrinate the ignorant  youth with hate and ignorance coming from some 'authority' figure.  The mullahs then they strap on an exploding vest, send them into a public place and if the children have 2nd thoughts, remote detonate.

Why is it that these buttholes always block comments or even ratings for their stupid videos? What a bunch of god-damned cowards they are.

They want to wage a holy war at America but their feelings would be hurt if someone made a bad comment or a down-vote. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Well... at least they aren't just regularly flying airstrikes into another nation with no formal declaration of war. That would be the mark of a truly scary and evil religious regime.

Right?

/right?

Makes sense.  Those religious zealots are close cousins to the Militia Teabagger.  Brags about being able to shoot his test dummy in the head, but would shiat himself if a policeman came at him.  In fact, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of inbreeding between these two groups.

Oh, of course there is.

Tea-baggers ARE the religious right. There was a study/survey a while back of tea party groups and THE common thread was that religion was issue #1 for them. The economic stuff is mostly bullshiat. What they're really after is the state's rights crap which they expect to allow them to turn their backwards little backwaters into their own personal theocracies.

The heart and soul of the "culture war" is expressed in this video. "We used to be the boss of society and now we're not... Black people and brown people and gay people and atheist people are having an impact on our society and feel perfectly comfortable being themselves in spite of our judgments and admonishments!!! We're being oppressed!!!"

antidisestablishmentarianism: There was a group of kids that decided to pray around the flag pole every morning at my high school. I don't remember anyone bothering them.

Heh, so did we.  I don't remember if it was around the flagpole, but that seems about right.  Probably the same deal at your place:
Them: "We're doing this because our religion is under attack!  You can't stop us!  1st Amendment!!!"
Everyone else: ".... Huh...  Whatever...  Have fun with that."

ShadowKamui: Breivik confessed and stated that the purpose of the attack was to save Norway and Western Europe from a Muslim takeover, and that the Labour Party had to "pay the price" for "letting down Norway and the Norwegian people".

Which is a xenophobic, anti-islamic and racist view point, none of which has anything to w/ Christianity

From Breivik's manifesto (giant pdf):

"3.149 The Bible and self-defence
Many Christians claim that acts of self-defence are unbiblical, unscriptural and ungodly. However, they are un-doubtfully wrong. The Bible couldn't be clearer on the right, even the duty; we have as Christians to self- defence.

Let's start in the Old Testament. "

(followed by an entire chapter of commented bible quotes)

Breivik is a christian who acted as he did to defend what he saw as a christian country from invading hordes of muslims.

Islamic fundamentalism does not compare, not remotely, to what you describe here.

I was referring specifically to the children in my video and i am 100% correct. It's always amuses me how little does the west seems to know or grasp about arab/ismalic mentality.
