But they JUST beat The Brotherhood of Stingy Studio Execs eight links down!

I think actors should only be paid a percentage of the profits.  That should dry up the talent for shiat movies in a hurry.

Sounds like some of those actors need to look at the number of Marvel characters who, at one time or another, were Avengers. Scarlett Johanssen could be perhaps the easiest to lose, given that in the movie she was basically Token Female. Wasp, Miss Marvel, She-Hulk, Scarlett Witch, and on and on and on, could all, very easily, replace her as Token Female. Or even better, be more than that.

Puny budget.

You'd have to require the studios to define profit better.  Plenty of them try to claim their giant blockbusters only break even.

Only Uncle Ben stays dead in comics.

I think they could realistically get away with cutting Thor, Black Widow, an/or Hawkeye, especially if they're bringing in Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (and maybe Ant-Man?), and bringing back Stark/Cap/Hulk. Thor, even though he was a part of the original comic team, is the least interesting member of the team and may be unnecessary if Loki isn't the primary villain anymore.

Nobody takes net points in Hollywood because the studios are devious bastards. Most big name actors get a percentage of the overall gross of the movie.

They need a percentage of gross, not net. There's a reason they call the accounting there "Hollywood Accounting" because it's meant to screw as many people as possible.

How do they have any time to fight super villains when they're fighting so many studio execs? Jeez.

And we all know sequels are never as good.

Yeah, they definitely need to bring in Wasp and Ant-Man, could easily lose Thor and Black Widow for that. Characters like Hawkeye and Black Widow don't really seem to work when they're alongside Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk.

Protip: Avoid reading solicitations for Superior Spider-man #12.

They could lose Scarlet and I wouldn't care. I think Jessica Biel would have been a much better Black Widow. Also, Scarlet is apparently unaware that the Black Widow title gets passed around a lot in Marvel's various universes. In Ultimate there have been several Black Widows. In 616 there were at least two.

Fire Scarlet. She's wooden and dull anyway. Hire Biel to take her place as Natasha, and explain that Scarlet was Yelena Belova all along.

That's nothing a few hangings can't fix.  Kill the frauds and let the others know that fraud will get them hung as well.  I'd start with the CEO of the studio.  I bet that'll fix the problem in a hurry.

/not a shill for the rope industry

If it were solely the actors' fault that a movie is poorly recieved or does not realize profits, I might agree.  But more movies are ruined by bad directors and producers than ever were by actors.
