Is it weird that they didn't blur out her face? Everyone has been blurring out her face, why not now? Thought it was a privacy issue?

Speaking of privacy, I wonder if they got Tarnaev buried while the media has been distracted? If not, they missed a perfect opportunity.

How long before somebody slow shout talks to her like she's a caveman.

"HELLO! WELCOME. TO. AMERICA. WE. LOOKING. FOR. YOU. LONG. TIME."

Maybe the mother decided that it was ok for them to show the young ones face.

Born in captivity sounds a little too much like zoo animal. There has to be a better way to say that.

I know there will be a book or three telling the horrors of the rape basement...and I cannot wait to read about it.

I am fascinated  (and sickened) by how someone can try and justify keeping sex slaves for 10+ years locked away like that...blows my mind...

If their trial gets aired, it ought to be interesting.  I am going to suspect that they may plead insanity because "I am a sadistic, evil cock, please show me mercy" will not bode well with the jury.  Everyone deserves a fair trial, but damn...I would not want to be their public defender.

That the phrase "born in captivity" can ever be applied to a human is obscene.  These 3 brothers deserve to be sent to North Korea.

Hmmm, NK could take our worst prisoners and do what they do best all while while earning some much needed cash. Sounds win/win.

What flavor!?

There will be lots of time to ask them questions, they should be left alone to reunited with their lives.

My husband's daughter has been missing since 1999. This story just brings up all your worst fears. But it makes you wonder if she's still alive. We haven't a clue.

Does she have an entry on either the Doe Network or Charley Project?

But does she think Benghazi is a scandal, yet?  Is she a Belieber?

I'm sure the toolbeats at TMZ will find some way to report on this.

I'm sure she's on all the sites. A local NYC newscast did a piece on her a few months back after another big case of someone missing returned. It just brings it all up. Especially with Mother's Day coming up. Her mother still doesn't handle it well. Obviously.

How could anyone handle a thing like that well?  I have a daughter, I have no idea what I'd do and honestly don't even want to think about it.  Best of luck to you, here's hoping for a happy ending somehow.

Of course she's happy and eating popsicles. She's 6 and has NO CLUE what's been going on!

Watch Ramsay's interview with Anderson Cooper in the Video tab. She was crying out for her Dad while this chick was trying to escape.

This Amanda woman was raped for 10 years and had to lie for 6 of them EVERY SINGLE DAY to her kid about how things were fine so the kid could grow up well adjusted.

She's got more balls then I'll ever have in 100 lifetimes.

2013-05-08 10:43:59 AM
Wow... now my kid is gonna feel so deprived. I didn't shove any popsicles up there for him to eat.

I'm so glad these folks were rescued.  But, well, I'm finding it difficult to believe that, unless they were in chains, three adult females could not figure out a way to get away from that place over time. Something doesn't ring up.

When the police (finally) came to rescue the girls, the children sere screaming for their daddy.

The kids are farked.  The kidnap victims are farked.  The only people not farked is the kidnappers because they will serve less time in jail than their victims.  They should be on the court house porch being burned at the stake.  But that would shatter the illusion of civility we have created.

One article does mention chains.  It's also quite likely that he had a fortified dungeon of some sort.  He may well also have deployed mind control techniques, threatening to kill their family or things of that nature.

I grew up across the street from my cousin who was two years older than me, we were as close as brothers.  When he turned 18 he decided to do some hiking and see the country - he had previously done wilderness school and outward bound.  A week later he called to say he was at the grand canyon and that is the last anyone ever heard or saw of him.

The not knowing and not being able to have closure is the hardest part.  I still slow down for hitchhikers or people walking on the street just to look and see if it is him.  The dreams have slowed in the past 31 years but I still have the occasional dream he is back.

Thanks,  nekom.I just don't know what to think about her case. They get leads, and then nothing happens. She's been missing since the age of 15. Perfect age to be forced into something awful. Ugh. Or she's dead.

FTA: "It's a good possibility one of them is [the father]," Tomba said.

Are they stupid?  Unless she gave birth to a reincarnated female Jesus, it's approximately a 100% possibility one of these three cocksuckers is the father.  She didn't leave captivity for 10 years.

Wow. Thirty-one years. I am so sorry for this. I agree the not knowing is the worst. I want closure for his family, my family.

I don't know, there's some poetic justice in the knowledge that they will now be housed in a cage. Forever. Seriously, this is EASILY aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape and lord knows what other charges they can stack, and absolutely NO mitigation whatsoever. This is 3 consecutive life sentence territory. Let them live a long and MISERABLE existence, while their victims can now at least have something of a life. Oh and unlike the victims, there is NO hope of reprieve, NO chance of escape. They will be condemned. Abandon hope.

I too have read about chains and ropes, but I also read in an article that one of the women was let out from time to time. I understand there might have been some mental manipulation or fear of revenge, but I have to agree, there are a few things that don't wrap up all nice and tidy.

Better yet, the actual movie quote from No Escape

This place will now be your holding pen until your death. Because death is the only way out. There is no chance of reprieve here, No possibility of escape. You are condemned. Either accept it... Or die...
