The big question is will they leave Nate Robinson at starting PG when Rose comes back?  I think they should keep Rose on the bench.  Why change what's winning these big games for you?

They should split the minutes in the first half, then play the hot hand in the 2nd half. Its unlikely that Rose will be in top form, even if he comes back this year. At the least, Nate will be fresher at the end of the game.

The only thing I was thinking while reading that "article" was how powerful Times New Roman is. It was an utterly pointless illogical piece yet that damn font made it look far more credibile than it was.

First paragraph:

For two full seasons, we've been told the best way to beat the Miami Heat is to out-rebound them.  They're one of the worst rebounding teams in the league, weak down low, critics would claim, lazily pulling up statistics that pale in reality to the far, more important number that resides in Miami's win column.  Monday night, however, we discovered an entirely different way to beat the defending champions: simply cart out your run-of-the-mill 5'9" guy and let him control the point guard position.

Checks box score... Chicago outrebounded the Heat by 14.  This guy is an idiot.

No, this is one of those awful blogs that gets regularly greenlit for no appreciable reason.

The quality of writing is generally poor at best, and the author is consistently terrible. He's also a Farker who "pops in" these threads after a while, so I'll probably get in trouble for calling him out.

But, in the immortal words of Farkers everywhere, "your blog sucks".

I thought it was quite possibly the spark-pluggiest blog ever.

Or as the author would probably write: "the spark-pluggiest, blog ever".

Well Ray Allen can't guard him, that was pretty much determined. The Heat might have someone else on the team who could slow him down a bit though.

Honestly I don't think LeBron is fast enough to stay in front of Nate. Few players are. Nate might not play well (he frequently has those inexplicable cold shooting nights) but it won't be LeBron who does it.

I know LeBron covered Derrick Rose successfully at times last year, but despite the media hype that was only for a handful of plays each game. And Rose could frequently drive around him, he just ran into Joel Anthony at the rim who gave him problems (not an issue this year with Bosh playing more of the 5, and James playing more of the 4).

On one hand I want the heat to lose. On the other hand I like the matchups with the heat and memphis better than any other eastern team with a shot of winning the conference.

Long road to go though.

He doesn't totally have to stay in front of him because he's got an extra foot of height and wingspan on Robinson to make it tougher for him to get clean looks or possibly block layups from behind.  I don't think anyone can stop Robinson from getting shots off, but if LeBron can make the shots tough that's all they need.

He'll do a hell of a lot better than 37 year old Ray Allen, anyway.

But that doesn't solve the problem that Ray Allen has to guard somebody.

Not really. The Bulls have a number of offensive liabilities.

I hate the Bulls, but I also hate the Heat. I think the Knicks might have an easier time against Chicago if they make it to the ECF, so...Go Bulls?

2013-05-08 05:14:12 PM
Bulls winning it without Rose would be awesome. I went from liking Rose to him being right up there with Elbows Malone as my least favorite part players of all time.Seriously, when has a star player ever flat out refused to play for months after being cleared to play? He's not even claiming to still be hurt. He really should get a lot more flak than he's getting.
