They created a module to be used in quantum cryptology for networks.  It looks to me to be mostly theoretical at this point.

right now you can do quantum encryption from point A to point B and if anyone tries to man in the middle the encryption it will show up as tampered
add A to B to C with B just doing switching and even if all B does is route the packets it shows up as tampered

they are saying that in their system C can be setup in such a way that it doesn't tamper the data but, if someone man in the middles between A and B or B and C it will show up at C as having been tampered with

As someone who know absolutely nothing about any of this stuff, I demand that they stop what they're doing right now on the off chance that the entire universe will be destroyed when they inadvertently open a black hole.
Thank you.

Been paying attention to the current gun control legislation proposals, I see.

the only thing to stop government sponsored egg heads with their own quantum switched network is other government sponsored egg heads with their own quantum switched network?

There's an alternate universe in which they aren't.

Also there's another alternate universe in which this is a gun control thread and some assholes are talking science.

I wish science had it's own Constitutional Amendment. Screw reality, I'll substitute my own.

YOU CAN HAVE MY SCIENCE FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS

Actually more like Two slits one photon or as of 2010, three slits one photon

Fascinating.

But as the person who usually implements the encryption, I already know of a hole.

Those who are our bosses, who know nothing about what we do
Ask US to certify that we cannot get into the environ...and report about it to them.

See the hole yet??
They haven't invented a method to resolve stupidity yet.

Did Meow Said the whatsis write this? I promise to never 'man in the middle' if by doing so I interfere with the encryption. Wat is this I don't even.
