The terrier and schnauzer mix didn't have access to water.

Then it wasn't there a month.

Speaks volumes about the way the people at impound lots care for vehicles, doesn't it?

When your car has enough garbage in it to sustain a puppy for a month, you know you are a disgusting fark.

That Magnificent Bastard!: People can be unbelievable.

One of our rescued dogs was left tied to a tree when the owners moved. He was there for a couple of weeks according to the Lab Rescue Network people.

People are scum. Dogs are awesome. The only time you get a bad dog is if there was a piece of shiat owner.

Cirrus Citation needed. How can a puppy survive a month without water? The "journalist" is full of Shih-Tzu.

Do you expect them to wash and detail your car weekly?

For what they charge to get your car back, they should.

MythDragon: /maybe it figured out how to open half full bottles of water?

Our dog loves water bottles. Toss him an empty and he'll have the cap off in ten seconds. It's not just a case of water for three bucks for us, it's a case of water and 24 disposable dog toys.

What do you mean? Just because the car is impounded doesn't mean they have to, or are even right to, go rooting around inside.

Yes, definitely. If anything I'm surprised that they didn't break into it and steal everything of value and find the puppy on the first day. The fact that they didn't find the puppy sooner if anything means they were doing their job honestly.

Had to have been something other than trash in there unless it included a bunch of half filled soda bottles or beer cans or something.  I don't think it could have made it a month without water.

And the owner didn't miss the puppy in all that time?  Seems like there is some missing back story here...
