I wonder what kind of car it was? TFA doesn't say :-(

So that puppy is now someone's Kia pet?

And the owner didn't miss the puppy in all that time?  Seems like there is some missing back story here...

That car must have had a lot of trash in it.

Naming a dog after a Korean car company.  Someone at the shelter has a twisted sense of humor.  Out yourself, Farker.

When your car has enough garbage in it to sustain a puppy for a month, you know you are a disgusting fark.

What a 12 week old, not so malnourished, Terrier-Schnauzer mix might look like. Let's try to imagine what the little guy will look like when he's adoption ready.

When your car has been impounded for a month with an animal inside I am guessing you aren't too meticulous to begin with.

You can have the one. She's bat-guano crazy now and we have approximately 12 years left of this.

/Truth be told though I wouldn't trade her in for anything

The terrier and schnauzer mix didn't have access to water.

Then it wasn't there a month.

What do you mean? Just because the car is impounded doesn't mean they have to, or are even right to, go rooting around inside.

Had to have been something other than trash in there unless it included a bunch of half filled soda bottles or beer cans or something.  I don't think it could have made it a month without water.

Yes, definitely. If anything I'm surprised that they didn't break into it and steal everything of value and find the puppy on the first day. The fact that they didn't find the puppy sooner if anything means they were doing their job honestly.

Our dog loves water bottles. Toss him an empty and he'll have the cap off in ten seconds. It's not just a case of water for three bucks for us, it's a case of water and 24 disposable dog toys.

People can be unbelievable.

One of our rescued dogs was left tied to a tree when the owners moved. He was there for a couple of weeks according to the Lab Rescue Network people.

People are scum. Dogs are awesome. The only time you get a bad dog is if there was a piece of shiat owner.

My husky/chow has figured out how to work easy cheese. I had a can (bacon chedder!) on the coffee table. I left the room, came back, and it was gone. I find the dog sitting in her bed. She had gotten the cap off, was holding the can propped up on one paw, and was using the other to hold down the nozzle, and just eating the cheese as it came out. I couldn't bring myself to scold her.

and THAT is how you figure out how long the dog has been in there: by the amount of poop.

And THAT isn't yet on YouTube?  That's a lot more impressive than most of what my fiance insists I watch because it's the most cutest thing ever.

If it will sustain a puppy for a day you're a disgusting fark.   Clean trash is one thing but stuff a puppy could eat??

And we thought it bad enough when the owners of the house up the street moved and left the half Persian show cat kitten behind that only knew to go up to someone and purr.  At least it had the mobility to come to us and purr for a home.  (My mother got 20 years of purring out of it.)

I call BS.  The dog probably was a stray that found some way to squeeze inside the car a day or two before they found it there, but couldn't squeeze back out.

missing a car and a puppy for 1 month?  the owner is in prison, kidnapped, or dead.
