basemetal: Pribar: basemetal: That would imply that I had a brain......years ago in Kuwait we were marking UXO for later removal when something blew, one second I was standing the next I was face down with ringing ears and a throbbing in the back of my skull, the doc ran over and checked me out (I took shrapnel to the back of my head, a bump and a couple stitches luckily), as he was helping me up the Lt ran up asking how I was when he was told what happened he sighed and said "thank god, if it had hit ya anywhere else ya might have been hurt."/Lt doesn't get Christmas cards from meOut of curiosity, any residual from that concussion? I know some guys that were over there that had a few close explosions, now the trouble with concentration, memory, stuff like that.
fusillade762: GSB time:I had a really leaky left eye for a while. Eventually my left nostril became semi-clogged and I started getting headaches from the pressure. After about a week of gobbling Advil I took a hot shower and left the water run over my face for a while. Then I laid down and put in some eye drops. Shortly after I blew my nose and there was this *POP*! I look in the tissue and there's this 2 inch piece of dried mucus that looked like a miniature golf tee. Immediately the pain went away and my eye went back to normal./GSB
