basemetal: That would imply that I had a brain......

years ago in Kuwait we were marking UXO for later removal when something blew, one second I was standing the next I was face down with ringing ears and a throbbing in the back of my skull, the doc ran over and checked me out (I took shrapnel to the back of my head, a bump and a couple stitches luckily), as he was helping me up the Lt ran up asking how I was when he was told what happened he sighed and said "thank god, if it had hit ya anywhere else ya might have been hurt."

/Lt doesn't get Christmas cards from me

Plant Rights Activist: okay, I have a constantly dripping nose and this scares the crap out of me

A diabetic test strip would relieve your worries.  CSF has glucose, snot does not.

fusillade762: GSB time:

I had a really leaky left eye for a while. Eventually my left nostril became semi-clogged and I started getting headaches from the pressure. After about a week of gobbling Advil I took a hot shower and left the water run over my face for a while. Then I laid down and put in some eye drops. Shortly after I blew my nose and there was this *POP*! I look in the tissue and there's this 2 inch piece of dried mucus that looked like a miniature golf tee. Immediately the pain went away and my eye went back to normal.

You might want to have that checked out ...

As a lifelong, year-round allergy sufferer/somewhat hypochondriac, I probably shouldn't have read this article or any comments.

"Wouldn't your brain dry out?" Jesus, I've read chapter books for second-graders that were written to a higher standard than this article.
