Pribar: basemetal: Pribar: basemetal: That would imply that I had a brain......

years ago in Kuwait we were marking UXO for later removal when something blew, one second I was standing the next I was face down with ringing ears and a throbbing in the back of my skull, the doc ran over and checked me out (I took shrapnel to the back of my head, a bump and a couple stitches luckily), as he was helping me up the Lt ran up asking how I was when he was told what happened he sighed and said "thank god, if it had hit ya anywhere else ya might have been hurt."

/Lt doesn't get Christmas cards from me

Out of curiosity, any residual from that concussion?  I know some guys that  were over there that had a few close explosions, now the trouble with concentration, memory, stuff like that.

Na, other than a affinity for posting self depreciating stories on fark, smoking Acapulco gold while working in my shop I am as normal as anyone else....

I appreciate your story so much I shared it with the wife. And then a friend via Facebook. So if Internet renown doesn't make you happy, you at least made it to some random marital bed.

A Terrible Human: kinkkerbelle: A diabetic test strip would relieve your worries. CSF has glucose, snot does not.

So like would you put the clear liquid on the strip and then test it as normal?

There is a dipstick that reacts to the presence of glucose.  It's not something you need a monitor for.
