mod3072: Ladies, PLEASE: If you are under 40 and in good physical condition, yoga pants are perfectly acceptable attire in public. If your ass looks like a sack of grapefruit when you squeeze it into your poor, tortured yoga pants, please don't leave the house like that. Some things that are seen at Wal Mart cannot be unseen.

And to the men:
PLEASE stop wearing baggy pants, we women want to see your physique (and admire it, if it calls for that).
Also: PUT SOME CLOTHES ON. Most of you do NOT have the physical attributes to make any kind of show anything but nausea-inspiring.

Somacandra: In related assnews my 3-year old daughter was really constipated over the past few days. It took a couple of small Miralax doses before we got two poop mountains, and it wasn't until we added the flax oil that we got enough of a mudbutt that my wife and I figured she was all cleaned out. Its tough to find yoga pants both small enough to fit a 3 year old and stretchy enough to contain a poo bomb like that.

FYI- try probiotics on your kid. You find it in the cold aisle and it's basically living, granulated lactobacilli, the same stuff that makes yogurt. According to our pediatrician, 1/5 or less of the recommended daily dose for toddlers, once a day. takes about a day to fully kick in, and once it does, is mildly miraculous.

You can feed em live culture yogurt(Activia) too but that's been hit or miss for us, since apparently not all live yogurt is in fact, live. Also, it's disgusting to watch a toddler eat yogurt. Makes me want to hurl

I need help Farkers.  I RTFA twice and still am confused why a police and firefighters retirement fund would have anything to do with this.

Because police and firemen love hot chicks in yoga pants.

Was this really so hard to figure out?  The fund is invested in lululemon, obviously.

I love spring, but it also means the girls at my gym begin their annual migration from yoga pants to shorts. I know it's a win-win, but I can't help but wait for October.

I didn't read the article but the fund probably owns stock in the company.  Anything done by the company that would negatively impact the stock price would be of concern to them.

"Shares in the company ended regular trading down 52 cents at $76.36. The stock added 22 cents to $76.58 in after-hours trading. They are essentially unchanged this year."   Kind of negates that idea.

They make yoga shorts too, so you need to go ahead and get those girls some Gaiam catalogs. For the sake of humanity.

Also, couldn't Lululemon tell before putting the stuff out in their(?) stores?  Or was it more that they found out women wouldn't buy them?

FTA, so never mind:

Lululemon pulled its Luon pants from stores over the weekend of March 16 and 17, after the company determined that the pants' fabric was too sheer and revealing.
At the time, the company said on its website that it first began to understand the extent of the problem on March 11, as part of its weekly call with store managers, who voiced worries about sheerness.

Why not just make refunds to the small percentage of people who were unhappy with the sheerness? I don't understand the recall. Who's the dumb ass making decisions at that company?

I used to do a Gaiam nighttime yoga routine on YouTube with Mrs. Ajax, hosted by Rodney Yee.  It wasn't a bad routine, except for the moment when Rodney tells you to "Relax...your brain."  Sounded like listening to a professional bells player who suddenly shifted to an anvil for a single note.

Madness?

This is getting rediculous!

I could have sworn the third line was going to be "THIS. IS. LULULEMON."  Which would be quite appropriate, since their logo appears to be a lambda, which is the same letter that appears on the shields of Spartan soldiers.

And Lambda rising, a gay bookstore in Dupont circle in DC. I know because driving through on your way to Georgetown you can't miss it.
