I much preferred 80s ESPN when the daytime lineup was Australian Rules Football, Latin Futbol Weekly, and swamp buggy racing complete with the Swamp Buggy Queen being thrown into the mud.

No, ESPN decided long ago that debate was more important than news, and when that happens your coverage starts to migrate to the stories that provide the most/best debate topics.

ESPN is unwatchable, still better then the NFL network though.
