If I was her manager I would be mixing lithium into her oatmeal.  That's a pretty clear cut case of bipolar.

Hmm, it's difficult to tell if it's her or not.  It's almost as if two people went out of their way to set up a phony video purporting to be shot by someone spying on her in order to cash in on her meltdown.  But nobody would be that callous, would they?  And surely nobody would be naive enough to fall for such a ruse, were that to be the case.

What is so damn sacred about the gym? It's ok to get you when you're stepping out of a port-a-potty...it's ok if you're driving your kids to school....it's ok if you're vacationing at some hide away resort that you over paid for to ensure privacy....but NOT THE GYM....GASP!!!

Really? WTF is wrong with you people?

I mean, I don't disagree. However, I don't think you should be allowed to be photographed or recorded without consent in ANY situation. I just don't get what's so special about the gym.

Certainly, but a gym should be something of a sanctuary considering how most (but not all) people have some level of insecurity about their bodies.

To be fair, I'm generally easy-going enough that you can take a picture of me shirtless while stepping out of a port-o-potty AND eating a meatball sub, or in the process of committing some other odd faux pas and my reaction will probably be "meh". I realize though I'm a bit of an outlier.

I got ya! I figured you were going for a self-image/esteem thing. I just don't understand why this is any worse than making someone have to scour the property before retrieving the mail in the morning if they haven't showered yet. Thing is if you're someone the pap actually wants to snap you probably spent 4 hours getting ready before going to the gym anyway.

The whole "no expectation of privacy in public" law the pap uses to sell garbage is ridiculous.

It really should be any situation.

I once punched someone and broke her camera for recording me in the gym, though.  There's something vulnerable about working out, being not done up as you normally would be, and odds are, nobody is secretly filming someone in the gym without intent to mock them or make them feel bad in some way or the other. This is probably a pretty uniquely female perspective, mind you.  But the chick I punched that time, nobody thought I was in the wrong. (And she was absolutely doing it to be an asshole and because it was "funny" since I was, as most people would be, in gym clothes with no makeup and all of that.)

But yes, filming people without their permission regardless of what they're doing shouldn't be considered acceptable.

Assaulting someone for doing something that is not dangerous to your person is not normally considered sane behavior either.

I never said I was entirely sane, but this chick(who I previously did know)  was using that against me and doing something she knew would set me off, plus, her boyfriend was stalking and threatening me at the time and she was videotaping me to get in on the excitement, and I was more than worked up and stressed out by EVERYTHING and seeing her filming me just set me off.

I am so, so glad to be the hell away from those toxic, insane people, I'll tell you that much.

Again, no drugs or self-harm.  One could argue about the cheek piercings being self-harm, but it appears she's healing them well.  Lohan has drug convictions and parties all the time.  They're nowhere near the same level of crazy.  Bynes is barely a spectator in that race.

I agree.

CSB:
I have a friend who is pretty "refined", if you will. An introvert who is never the "life of the party". Other than that he is a pretty average guy. Just not much of a dancer, or a "woot-woot" kinda guy when he's having a few drinks. No problem. Thing is there are people out there who think this is unacceptable. Like he REALLY wants to be the king of the dance floor or the person standing on the table. Anyway...during a family affair he, as usual, had people trying to get him to "come out of his shell". He relented and said he would dance for a song if it meant they would fark off afterwards. Once on the floor it started as a standard white-guy dance. The girl really started to whoop it up and somehow convinced him to let loose a bit. You could tell he was having fun and even started to respond and do some fun butt wiggles and some standard over-the-top dance moves just for fun. Problem is the other girl was recording it all on her phone and the next day is was posted online with some belittling remarks. Yet people still wonder why that wasn't enough to get him to be "normal"...or unique.....like everyone else.

Anyway....nuf rambling. I have some work to do.

Well, exactly.

And the people recording people secretly in the gym or dancing or whatever else are doing it to make fun of that person (be it warranted or not.)  The fact that this is a semi-known actress is irrelevant.  It was someone going "look, someone is doing something somewhat weird that I find hilarious, so I am going to film it and put it online and everyone will have a good laugh."  The fact that people know who Amanda Bynes is just made this all the more interesting and awesome because now someone will pay me for this because she's FAMOUS and doing something weird.  JACKPOT.

Nobody can say anyone has ever done something like this because they had anything BUT ill intent with their footage.  Again, very much a uniquely female perspective, I suspect

And the age old wheel turns: you clearly gave enough of a shiat to click in here and make a comment.

Unless someone was holding a gun to your head. BLINK TWICE IF THEY ARE.

PizzaJedi81: Crazy or not, I've had a crush on her since I was a teenager and would like to give her some iron to pump, if ya know what I mean and I think you do.

Are you black? If so, you have a good chance.

Every time a story about her comes on Fark, Madonna starts singing in my head.

TrainingWheelsNeeded: that was uncoordinated but when I am on the elliptical I too often alternate raising and lowering my arms for a minute or two at a time to get a nice shoulder burn.

If she were doing this on-line at the In-And-Out there may be a problem, and even then that would only be moderately weird in the city of Angels.

I'm sorry, one would never be "on line" at In-N-Out. It's West Coast. One would only ever be "IN line" at one.

B.L.Z. Bub: AdolfOliverPanties: Speaking of Drake, she tweeted recently that she used to fark Drake Bell (different Drake) on the set of her Nickelodeon show all the time.

She was 13 when that show started and 16 or 17 when it ended.

Are you referring to this? You've been taken in. Look closely at the Twitter username.

Oh my god that is farking amazing.  Kerning win.

She may be crazy, but she's not going to come to your farm if you don't have indoor water.

phaseolus: dewright_ca: (WTF is a Drake anyway?)

I had to look it up. Remember a year or two ago when some of our stupider young people all started saying "yolo" all the time, to excuse or draw attention to stupid behavior?

Well, this Drake guy started that whole thing with one of his songs.

Ok, so his 15min are about up... good to know...

Wellon Dowd: serpent_sky: But yes, filming people without their permission regardless of what they're doing shouldn't be considered acceptable.

There are actresses who enjoy the photogs following them into the gym. And then there's Vanessa Hudgens.

Ah, Vanessa... the things I've always wanted to do with her, and the positions and locations, would cause the letter written to Penthouse to be rejected for being too outrageous.

JohnnyCanuck: I mean, I don't disagree. However, I don't think you should be allowed to be photographed or recorded without consent in ANY situation. I just don't get what's so special about the gym.

I took this video this last summer, and I feel no shame about it.
