So... an article about a YouTube video... and yet somehow it feels as though there is something missing.  Whatever could it be?

I love the guy fishing in a white button down shirt and dress jacket.  Sure happens all the time...

I also love the fact that there is no turbulence in the water from flippers, fins or tail.  Just forward motion from the submerged tow rope.

I so expected something to come out of the water, snag and swallow that guy.

The easiest way to tell someone is lying to you is if he's wearing a suit.

Either a whale (comments mention whales seen in that area) or towed from a boat off camera.  Move along, nothing to see here.

Who the hell goes fishing is a suit?

Ghastly: Who the hell goes fishing is a suit?

At least he could have been wearing herringbone tweed.

This guy seems to think David Lynch does. It's in the video description.

Really, if you can't believe this Melarkey...

His buddy Shenanigans helped him with the filming.

And Sean Smithereens did the editing.

Listen.   Hold your camera steady when you see Bigfoot, nessy, or Amelia Airhart.

Smacks of viral marketing for a monster movie but I freely admit I'm probably just jaded.

Mankind has been searching for various cryptids for hundreds of years without even so much as a pile of monster shiat to show for their efforts. Give it up.

All large animals have been discovered, barring something possibly in the deepest trenches of the sea which would never be capable of coming to the surface anyways.

/still bitter about growing up to realize Nessie is just a scam for tourists fueled by mass hysteria and hoaxes

Maybe it was Lobster Head?
