Good to see Cullen still being productive in the NHL

/got a soft spot in my heart for players who were on the Cincinnati Ducks back when they were here & we had a partial season ticket package
//well, not Avery but he's the exception that proves the rule...

Goal Chicago it seems...

Wild caught watching the Kane show yet again

I'm not a big Hawks fan, other than they are fun to watch and despise the Canucks as I also do, but I have nothing but disdain for the Minnesota Wild.

Why do you hate the Wild? It's like hating the Astros -- every once in a while they'll make some noise, but they're generally harmless.

Hell, I'm a Blackhawks fan and I don't have a reason to dislike the Wild.  (Then again the Astros reference delighted me since they were swept by my White Sox in 2005.)

Bouchard evens it up. It was a matter of time, Min has been swarming Crawford.

Yeah, the Wild have gotten a lot more aggressive since about the 12 minute mark.

That's a good way to take some momentum into the locker room...

As a Flames fan, I see far more of the Wild than I would like.

In the pre Suter and Parise days, and still to some extent now, the Wild play the most joyless, boring, defensive, safe hockey of any team in the league. It's like they want to take hockey and just make it a f*cking chore to watch.

It goes back to several seasons ago when the Flames had Pay-Per-View games about 8-10 times a season.

One Tuesday night with no wife and kids and nothing to do, I ordered the PPV game. Flames/Wild. I settled in with a few beers and watched one of the most godawful games I have ever seen. Result, Flames blanked 3-0 at home.

It was a failing of my team as well. Truly just a complete breakdown.

F*ck the Wild.

Fubar: desertgeek: Nice job refs. You gave them that PP on a weak call

Quad wah....

I'm just catching back up in the thread.  And this caught my eye.  If DG and OL agree on a point it's probably valid.  That is all.

Shaw can't shut his yapper.

Maybe the Wild will replace Detroit as far as division rivals after all. I don't know if I would ever actually hate them though.

I guess I'm tempered a bit since I used to live 3 miles from the Xcel Center, and I wish I could move back to Minnesota because it's just an awesome place to live -- hockey team not withstanding, I'd still be a Pens fan.

Precious Roy's Horse Dividers: Wow just saw replay of the PIT-NYI game. Nice dive Sid. BS call

I said when it happened that it wasn't a bad call, but the more I watch it the more questionable it becomes.

If that was not Saint Sidney, that call is not made.

And if you analyze it in slow motion, frame by frame like the Zapruder film, you'll see that Sid's dive was just a False Flag operation perpetuated by the Reverse Vampires in order to invade Iceland for their sheep.

Either way, Pitt is not winning a Cup if they are struggling this much with the Islanders.

Chicago PP. Frolik showed restaint there.

Popcorn Johnny: Absolute bullshiat penalty, that ref won't be doing the next round.

What is bullish... about a penalty where a player grabs a player on the opposing team with both hands and drags him down while he is going to the net with the puck?

The refs won't call everything in the playoffs, but if it creates or negates a scoring chance, they will.

I'm not taking it that far, but it's a bit borderline. But the Isles are making their point and that's really all I expected going in. Actually winning would be a bonus.

2013-05-05 04:28:56 PM
Damn, it looked like Chi got a 4-on-2 on that Wild change right after the Pp

Somewhere in Southern Ontario Don Cherry is raging about the linesmen.

Chicago needs to wake the hell up, getting too careless and sloppy here.

2013-05-05 04:42:26 PM
Crawford is in beast mode right now... kinda has to be.  His team is leaving him out to dry with soft plays and turnovers!

2013-05-05 04:42:46 PM
uh quick whistle?

2013-05-05 04:49:22 PM
A lot of action around the Chicago net, but Craford's kept it even

2013-05-05 04:56:22 PM
Oduya and Clutterbuck came close to a full-on brawl. MIN PP.

2013-05-05 04:57:58 PM
Can someone kick these linesmen off the ice

2013-05-05 05:03:05 PM
Seabrook got put on his ass pretty hard right at the end of the period there.  20 mins. from possible bonus hockey.

2013-05-05 05:04:49 PM
I just noticed that Frolik and Carcillo look a lot alike.
