Does the cold of deep space make your nipples go pointy, Bowie?
Do you use your pointy nipples as
telescopic antennae to transmit data back to earth
I bet you do, you freaky old bastard you!

Pepperjack: [24.media.tumblr.com image 300x300]

Watched that show for the 1st time a couple nights ago, only because I'd heard Bob Newhart was on in a guest role. THAT is one of the top-rated shows on television? Christ, we're in trouble.

The article kind of gives Angela the shaft. She was a big part of David's appearance and style in the early days. They had a deal: She would help him to become a star, and then he would help her to do the same. She designed costumes, came up with ideas for his personas, and took care of him while he was strung-out on drugs. He became a huge star.  And then they got divorced, Coco Schwab took over David's career, and Angela's career was left behind.

I love David Bowie. I've been to many concerts. I've stood face-to-face with him (but was too awe-struck to speak.)  I became a musician because I so adored his music and style.

But I have also communicated with Angie (decades ago), and she's a charming woman; Smart, witty, classy, and sharp-tongued when she needs to be. I absolutely believe she got screwed when it comes to her marriage and career support of David. She was pretty talented herself, and I'm certain that David wouldn't have made it as far as he did without her. She was a genius at marketing him and keeping him from destroying himself.

David's amazingly talented and driven, but Angie's cleverness and creativity was a big part of who he was. I can understand him wanting to distance himself from an ex-wife (out of experience, I can even empathize with him now) but journalists seem to push Angie out of the picture more and more, every time a read a new David Bowie biography.
