Dortmund bayern should be interesting. Will bayern play their strongest team to prove a point before the cl final, or having already won the league will they play a different team so as not to give anything away?

It looks like both teams are resting many of their starters. Here are the projected lineups:
Dortmund: Weidenfeller - Großkreutz, Felipe Santana, Hummels, Schmelzer - Kehl, Sahin - Hofmann, Gündogan, Reus - Schieber

Bayern: Neuer - Rafinha, van Buyten, Dante, Alaba - Javi Martinez, Luiz Gustavo - Müller, Pizarro, Shaqiri - Gomez

I imagine some of the big guns (Robben, Lewandowski, etc) would see some action in the second half.

Neither team has anything to play for today. Bayern already took the league and Dortmund already secured their CL spot for next season, so today's game will look like a scrimmage while both teams bide their time until the Champion's League match.

The game will almost certainly be fun to watch as the reserves all try to display their skills and fight for a roster spot, but it won't be a game with any meeting.

What the hell? I'm watching a stream right now in German, so I can't really tell what's going on, but this doesn't look like a Champions League final.

It's not...

It's a regular Bundesliga match between the two teams who happen to both be in the Champions League final as well.

Gomez just had the most basic goal celebration ever. He just walked headed it in and walked away like nothing happened. Class.

Grosskreutz goals don't actually count, so Bayern won 1-0.

Lol :P

I think Bayern won't have too much of a problem come Finals, unless they get that ref again. Card happy much?

Today's game wasn't as good as the final should be. Both teams were resting some of their best players, especially Bayern who had two regular starters, one was not in his normal position. (Moved from left-back to winger.) Hell, Schweinteiger, Ribery, and Robben didn't even travel with the team.

This game made me more confident about the final, that's for sure. Even Bayern's 10 man B-Team didn't look at all shaken to be playing BVB, which would be unthinkable last season. BVB wasn't at full strength obviously, but they had more starters on the pitch than Bayern did and looked a bit nervous. Even Kloppo looked a bit off today, subbing off Gundogen after the first goal (possible injury? Most likely precautionary) yelling at Rafinha, and then subbing on Reus after the red card.

Of course, it means nothing, but Bayern looked mentally stronger today than they have in awhile.

For real, as long as Bayern didn't get destroyed, this could only work out in their advantage. We've now got two draws and two wins over Dortmund this season, they haven't been able to beat us yet. Let's hope game number 5 isn't any different :P

Plus, the undefeated streak continues!
