This really does make me realize I shouldn't throw things away so carelessly.  I could have built a violin instead of letting some kids do it with  my stuff.

I played the cello for a decade and some of those years were spent on a very fine sounding 1975 Roth. That oil can cello gave me chills...I can hear echos of my old instrument in it. Color me seriously impressed.

"Sounds" like there's something neat and interesting, maybe even impressive, going on here.  However, big chunks of the picture are missing.

They are asking for donations - to do what?  Finish a "film" about the kids of Cateura?   It had better include a lot of interview/bio of the person(s) who actually craft those instruments as well as those who teach the children.

Fat Albert and his friends did that stuff years ago.

I'd be more impressed if their government managed their economy a bit better as to not have to have those people live and scrounge in landfills to survive.

Hilarious that there is a link to fund a MOVIE about them, but not to donate to the people or buy instruments to help support them. Neat.
