Ted Cruz is firmly against the metric system. He has a short ton of Senators to piss off.

I, for one, look forward to all the people who spent 8 years telling us that "natural-born citizen" means that the President must be born on US soil suddenly changing their tune when Cruz runs.

Then you missed all the hardcore Birthers rag on John McCain for being born in Panama during the election.

Cruz would have about as much chance landing the nomination as Michelle Bachmann, but it sure would be hella-fun trolling Birthers with their same arguments if he did.

You're such a clever boy. I forgot there were so many rallies in front of the capitol with angry mobs, open-carrying and threatening  violence if McCain didn't step down.

that "i'm happy in the senate" crap is crap. but i doubt he'll run because at some point the party leaders will explain his impossibly small chance of getting nominated. jindal's "don't be stupid" really does make sense nationally.

It's almost like "Birtherism" was a mixture of a small group of conspiracy crazies that was combined with the "He's not American" political attack started by Hillary Clinton and continued by conservatives to create something that was less about conspiracy theories and more about repressed racism.

Once Canada and Cuba become the 51st and 52nd states, he will be a shoe in for President.
