ALmost feel for the guy.

But then I remember that he really never had the sills to make it in the NFL, and has already made more than I will in my entire life in a couple of years, and felt the need to show off his belief in front of millions of viewers...

I prefer Song of Solomon. Where the chick has an orgasm for King David so intense that she shiats herself.

Ah, that bible. Wholesome family kink.

Fark his non-skills. This poor guy got screwed and I do feel bad for him.

I mean, what's it going to feel like when he realizes there is no god either.

That would be a terrible idea. He'd end up giving the cars back to the wrong people a few times every shift.

Sad Tebow standing next to Sad Keanu?

Sad Tebow standing next to Sad Keanu, present at Kirk Cameron's sad excuse for a birthday party?

Well, it's pretty obvious that they just managed to photograph him while he was looking down, but because Sad Keanu is kind of getting old, I guess we have to go with what little there is to work with.

It would be worse if he hit his own car at full speed in the rear and wound up fumbling.

Part of me wants to laugh, but then I stop to think about the fact that this guy just lost his entire career.  Not just a job, an entire industry that he probably can't work in anymore, and he's not even 30.  Sure, he's a millionaire, but it has to suck going through that kind of ordeal, knowing that there are also millions of fat slobs laughing at him from home for getting fired.

I'm sure ESPN has already offered him a contract. He'll be fine. He just wont be a QB.

Well he will have the Christian speaker circuit to do.  He was successful at Denver and between that and his Gator success he will do fine.  I enjoyed watching him as a Gator fan, the Bama game not withstanding.  Best game for me was his last regular season game when the Gators killed FSU in a monsoon.

He should take a page from Danny Wuerffel's playbook of going to work with poor kids in New Orleans and go work with orphans in the Philippines.

I don't feel sorry for him at all.  He does not have the skills to play QB but he refuses to do anything else.  There are dozens of players in the NFL who played a different position on college than in the pros.  Sure, probably none of them won the Heisman for it, but he has been offered tight-end positions, fullback positions...it is obvious that a LOT of teams want this guy, just not at QB.

And he won't farking adapt.  That is his problem, not mine.  If one is not good enough to play QB in the NFL but IS good enough to play in the farking NFL, he should play in the farking NFL.

What a dope.

No he lived the dream far longer than his abilities should have taken him. I can't play QB either, but if I got to play for two NFL teams I was unqualified for I'd be a happy motherfarker.

Maybe next time, he shouldn't pose for GQ doing a bastardized impersonation of Jesus on the cross.
God was punishing him for pride and idolatry for worshipping at the church of himself.

he could be a backup, ESPN won't let it happen. every team knows if they get Tebow on their team they get 24 hour coverage of WHY ISNT TEBOW THE STARTER and that's not worth it

32 TDs (19 passing, 13 rushing counting playoffs) in 37 games against 9 INTs isn't horrible. Mediocre perhaps, but hey, he played sporadically  for two mediocre teams, at best. I ain't gonna kick the guy when he's down.

By comparison, Peyton Manning threw 74 TD's and rushed for 0, with 30 INT's in his last 33 games including playoffs.

Dude's been blackballed by the NFL. Perhaps he's locker room poison, I don't know. I just can't hate the guy.

"God", my ass. We're all punishing Tebow, and deservedly so, for the reasons you stated. God didn't do this to him - he did it to himself. We're just pointing and laughing.

I don't hate him - I just pity him. He is a walking example of at least three deadly sins, even as he beats his breast and proclaims his love for Jayzus. That's the embarrassment. He's not just a mediocre QB, but a mediocre Christian, and the worst part is that he thinks he's great in both areas. That kind of self-delusion has no place in a locker room.
