plcow: Best practices and win-win might be overused, but they definitely have real meanings. Best practices is used when a lot of people are achieving the same result, over and over, and going about it different ways. Somewhere in there is a best practice, that can save time. Win-win is a negotiating term, and means that rather than going term-for-term through a contract and dividing up which clause favors who, both parties look to add value to the contract that benefits everybody. Using a metaphor, it's growing the pie, rather than focusing on how it's divided up.Also, I work in a Fortune 10 office, and never hear any of these other words. I see these lists all the time on linkedin, who uses these words?
mootmah: The one that makes my blood boil is any time someone uses "leverage" as a verb. Makes me a million kinds of stabby.
