"Spot-on". I don't think that means what you think it means.

May daughter (14mos) has just hit the Elmo stage.  She was such a tv zombie this morning that I turned off the tv.  I find the voice actor's personal life the least annoying aspect of that character.

/in my day, Grover was all the nondescript muppet monster we needed

our youngest is weird. he ignores the muppets except maybe if they're singing.

but the minute a dalek comes on screen... totally mesmerized.

I think there's a pretty big difference between drugging and raping a 13 year-old you've been stalking and having consensual (though illegal) sex with 16 year-olds who were soliciting for sex with older men.

My oldest loved, loved, loved Elmo.  Now that is closer to being 5, Thomas (and Justin Time) are more his bag.  When he was being a fussbucket when he was around 2 or so, I could put Elmo's song on Youtube and he was glued to it.

My middle kiddo never really took to watching Elmo (he loves Curious George), but insisted on having an Elmo cake for his 3rd birthday.  He likes the idea of Elmo and I think that he is fascinated by him visually but he has watched less Elmo than his brother did.

but he likes anything with crunchy guitars and drums.

acid jazz(miles davis) makes him pull a philosoraptor.

pink floyd, he starts banging on the keyboard to make the computer stop.

Not that it makes it right, but you'd be farked up too if your pregnant wife was murdered by a bunch of hippie sickos.

Yeah, but meth fueled barely legal sausage parties chock full of cock are perhaps not the best thing for someone in his position to be doing.

pfft don't feel bad. it's a good show. waaaay above 90% of the shows aimed at kids nowadays without veering into 'you have to be stoned to properly appreciate this' territory.

the entire house comes to a standstill for us when a new episode comes on, just like it did back during avatar: the last airbender/legend of korra.

Unfortunately, no, that Doctor Whooves scene is pure fanfic.

But, The Doctor does run away from monsters, and has a redheaded companion in the second season finale.
