Based on the mugshot I really can't imagine this guy hiking or doing anything other than acting douchey in a club.

This is why you only get messed up in cemeteries. Hardly any trees and plenty of markers.

I wouldn't want to get lost in those woods. I hear moose bites can be pretty nasty.

I find I climb mountains so much faster when I'm on meth,

Never to watch a movie made using a potato? I don't see how that's relevant here..

I see you used a potato instead of your keyboard.

"Dude, I totally left the stash in the car."
"Don't worry man, I'm still tweaking and we're only gonna be out here for a couple of hours.  Save it for when we come back."
"Good idea, brah."

I bet they're regretting THAT decision.

So you tell the cops that you're lost in the woods and that constitutes probable cause to search your car?

Or searching your car to look for clues as to where you went.

Jack said that she believed she was being attacked by wild animals and mistook tree branches as straws she could drink from.

The more I read about these two idiots the more I hate them. They took way more hallucinogens than they should have and suffered the consequences. But instead of just admitting their stupidity, they hold on to their bullshiat story about innocently wandering off the path and getting lost.

That doesn't really tell us much; the street price for a gram of meth ranges from $5 to $250 depending on the purity, etc.  That 0.5g could be anywhere from one to ten doses (the density varies greatly by purity, so a less pure 0.5g could be much, much larger than a more pure one).

It does, however, tell us that one of them purchased/used crystal meth.

Much like alcohol and night swimming, drugs and hiking are a winning combination.

Just very lucky they didn't get hold of that MAJAWANNA.  It makes the kids crazzy!  No telling what might happen.

Meth isn't generally considered a hallucinogen.  Likely it was sleep-deprivation.

They claimed they were hallucinating the first evening, just hours after becoming lost.  I would bet that they were on something and not necessarily meth.

What pisses me off is that a reserve deputy was severely injured during the rescue efforts for these two farking shiatstains. I hope they're both found liable for all his medical costs, lost wages, and suffering.

They should be forced to pay up. If they can't pay, take them back out into the wilderness and leave them there.

If you can't handle the drugs, don't take them. Idiots.
