West responded with this email: "No I did not Twitter this ... no I did not create this picture ... yes I shared it ... so why am I being singled out?"

I'm going to guess it's because you're an elected official and you're advocating threatening citizens of your state with death for practicing religion. It's just a guess though.

2013-05-01 08:24:45 AM
That's only two counties away from Davidson (where Nashville is located). Still not surprised...

Going by the mathematical constant of "the more hardass someone talks the squishier the bag of monkey shiat they are" it's safe to assume this guy has oft beshat his Dockers when a Sikh cardiologist drives by.

Simple lesson. If you're in a public position, don't post stupid shiat on social media or email.

Heh.  I just SHARED it, not made it.

Any guess on the party affiliation?

Well, my guess is that they definitely would not be a member of a party that prides themselves on personal responsibility.  That would just be hypocrisy.

2013-05-01 08:29:47 AM
I read that as "how to wink at a museum" and was super confused. It's still early.

Why do these clowns think that there's some kind of "negative-repercussion-shield" if you share something horrible?  That GOP assclown in Michigan (Dave Agema) did the same thing: he posted some horrible rant about how gay people cause murders or something, but then defended himself by saying he just "shared" it and didn't write it.

Here's the deal guys.  If you "share" something on social media, whether as a politician or a private citizen, that is an  explicit endorsement of the thing you're sharing.  It is not a way to get away with saying something appalling and not take responsibility for it.

2013-05-01 08:35:20 AM
So both sides are bad?  Maybe it's just Tennessee in this case.

Duke Phillips' Singing Bears: F*cking dick should lose his job. That sh¢t is not okay.

Agreed.  Tell him bye-bye from the job, bye-bye from the party.  The GOP is a big tent party, they should welcome him with open arms.

In before some douche drops the "Fark liberals won't say anything because he's a democrat." I consider myself to have won at fark today.

It's not, but thanks for taking up the cause by making a sweeping judgment about an entire state.  Your position on prejudice is duly noted.

Tennesseans must really hate Muslims.  They seem to knowingly elect a lot of Muslim-haters, anyway . . .

Is it really pre-judging given what went down with that mosque?

Mr. Coffee Nerves: Going by the mathematical constant of "the more hardass someone talks the squishier the bag of monkey shiat they are" it's safe to assume this guy has oft beshat his Dockers when a Sikh cardiologist drives by.

That sounds about right.

Tough talk camouflages fear, and fear is the default mode of extremist reasoning. They fear everyone who doesn't look or think the way they do. It is not surprising they only feel safe cowering behind a threat of violence.

Yes, it is.

Are you that dense?  You think the entire state set that fire?

That fire was always burning. Had been since the world was turning.

That's terrible. You should really keep both eyes open when firing a shotgun.

I wasn't referring to the fire. The elected officials that the citizens put in to office took some rather questionable actions to keep it from happening.

So given that, it's in no way pre-judging to speculate that there is something not quite right going on there.

LOL

I sent a message to Tennessee Democratic Party through their facebook page. I encourage everyone else who cares about the party to do the same. This cannot be tolerated. He needs to be made an example of.

I didn't tweak anything, you made a poor assumption which I politely pointed out for you. Tennessee has a history, it doesn't matter if you don't like it.

What assumption did I make?

You didn't point anything out.  You're supporting a condemnation of an entire state when in the very article cited, the Muslim woman who first called this picture out noted that she had never had any problems in Coffee County.

I believe that's an AK-47 Glock Machine Gun.

Barry West (D-ouche) needs to man up, apologize, and resign. Not necessarily in that order.
