When I read the harrowing tale of how he disagreed about the AT&T / T-Mobile merger my stomach turned. I tried to read on about how he was against SOPA but I had already vomited too much and was just producing stomach bile at that point. Truly, a disgusting, shocking, in-depth, useful, pertinent, pulitzer-worthy read.

phyrkrakr: Goddammit, Obama, stop being a corporatist dickbag! I like your social policies and think you're doing a fairly decent job, but giveaways to insurance companies, failing to prosecute Wall Street, and now an appointment like this to one of the very few government agencies that still sided with the consumer part of the time?

Is there nobody in politics any more who will stand up to the plutocratic oligopoly we have in this country? Decentralization, reduced barriers to entry, diversification of market capital, and expanded consumer choice will do more for the economic health of this country than any number of tax cuts or government grants. Any FCC chair should come in ready to reform copyright, reduce media concentration, improve and expand internet service, and do SOMETHING about the farking cell phone industry if he wants me to support him. This guy sounds like another corporate toolbag who's going to do the exact opposite in all of these areas.

But he's getting a black guy for SoT. So you know. Diversity.
