No, it just needs the qualifier of "post-Rhiannon" Fleetwood Mac being weak, trite and just generally inferior to the original.  Though I do have to admit using the Spirit of Troy on "Tusk" was pretty cool.

\just need them to release some of the pre-Stevie stuff as mp3 albums now so I can actually buy them and not have to go discount bin diving....

Nope.  Saw them a few years ago with out her.  They missed her.

This too.  With so much keyboard-driven stuff in their repertoire, not to mention songs she sang lead on, this can't actually work well....

Now, there you go again, you say you want burritos.
I sure hope that you can keep 'em down.
It's only a flour tortilla, used to wrap around your meat now.
Have you any beans you'd like to share with the loneliness?

Lucy Lawless did a killer Stevie Nicks.

Pretty much this. When there were rumors of Sheryl Crow filling in, that I might have gone to see. Otherwise we're just seeing Buckingham Nicks with a good rhythm section.

But then again, Stevie did sound really good when they did this show.

One of the most overrated bands of all time. Then again I did have a little crush on Christine McVie when I was a teenager, but hell I had a crush on almost every girl then.

I'm fond of "Hypnotized" nice guiar line and McVie's harmonies are top notch.

Why do kids today care so much about their parents music. Go back to listening your Beiber and complain about that 'okay'.
I never cared for Fleetwood Mac in the 70's..and I never cared for Doris Day or Dean Martin, but there where plenty of other things to listen too. Why bother complaining, about an era that had lots and lots of 'new music'.

The ONLY reason 70'a music is important today is because it's not the parents listening to it; it's the kids; something kids in the 70's would never do--no one under 30 in 74 said "Oh Dina Shore was SOooo over rated".

At least no one worth speaking of.

Kids were listening to 70s music about 15-20 years ago when That 70s Show was cool. Those kids have their own kids today.

For god's sake man, try to keep up.

No, but like John Denver, they always really enjoyed bland white-pop crap instead of good music.

I've heard a couple of songs from this already.  One is a Buckingham Nicks cover.  I'm sure I can part with four bucks.

The song It Takes Time... who'd have thought that Lindsey Buckingham could pull off a piano ballad??!!  But after listening to this, the whole EP is pretty much dominated by him.

Ditto, same here. Except my father would be 82 if he were alive and my mother is 78=7, so their music is.... I dunno. Classical and jazz, and old country music...? I definitely don't consider them to be my generation's music..

Also, I would be interested in listening or maybe even acquiring this, but I'm not signing up for any iCrap.

I'm 45 and Fleetwood Mack was definitely not my parents music. Rumors was 1977, Tusk came out in 1982 or 83 I think? That was MTV era, I was a teenager and so were you.

Actually, we did.  But that was because she was banging Burt Reynolds.

And I thought Elvis was overrated.

Being a Buckingham Nicks era fan, I gotta say I was kinda underwhelmed.  Not sure what I was expecting since "Say You Will" was kinda meh to me as well, but I thought they would come out with something a little more........well, something.  I guess this was just kinda the reason the new supposed album didn't come to fruition and ended up doing another greatest hits tour again, and I suppose these were the ones they did manage to finish in the studio.  Other than "It Takes Time"......everything just seems to drag on and on IMO.

I was, and it sounded like old person music even then. Willie Nelson just turned 80 however, and he's never been old.

It's extraordinarily egocentric of you to say that music belonged to "you" because you were young when it came out.  The whole world didn't revolve around your youth.

If you had been a teenager when Michael Buble became popular, would that have made it your generation's music?

So compact discs are now so outdated and obsolete that only the hopelessly out-of-date still use them.  Sigh.  I swear it was last week when they appeared and freed us from the tyrrany of the "rewind" button.

I'm old.

Just turned to my daughter and said "this is Fark, lets see who has suggested they still listen to vinyl"
Thank you for proving me right.
Not sure how much of  fan of fleetwood my dad is, but I know he recently bought himself a phonograph and is happily listening to all the scratchy 78s he can find.
