Clone Wars is the most watchable of all the Star Wars itinerations of the past three decades.

At some point the EU will tie up what happened to Ashoka.

Oh look, it's the "we're too cheap and lazy to invest in real graphics" game series again.

Oh whoops, I read that as Lego Wars.  Fail.  :(

I hate the EU. Most of it that I read was like bad fanfic.

I'd rather they either tie up her story in the last arc of Clone Wars or give her some kind of cameo/mention in the next movie (maybe she's been in exile like Obi-Wan and Yoda were).

Hero's journey my ass.

I don't know why, but I absolutely loathe whatever her race is.  I wanted to see Shaak-Ti mutilated and decapitated in Episode III, but at least I got some sense of satisfaction out of torturing and then murdering her in The Force Unleashed.  Just something about their appearance makes me all stabby.

......I may need help.

So in 5 seasons they still haven't managed to bridge the 1-year gap between "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith?"

Yeesh.

It was 3 years of in-universe time between the two events.

Darth Maul is all I care about. This series actually did something amazingly cool with a character who was a tad boring in the film.

Wayne 985: Darth Maul is all I care about. This series actually did something amazingly cool with a character who was a tad boring in the film.

He was completely wasted in the films. I'd much rather have had him make it into a second movie to leg him out more instead of introducing Grievous.

SithLord: It was 3 years of in-universe time between the two events.

So the legendary Clone Wars only lasted 3 years? Weak.

As for the number of seasons, MASH stretched the Korean war over 11 years.

I wonder if the last episode will rehash the end of the previous Clone Wars cartoon in leading directly to Episode III?

I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Ahsoka Tano is the hottest thing in the SW universe.

Eh, our Civil War only lasted 4 years.

The Clone Wars was some of the best Star Wars around. As a 33 guy who loves Star Wars I really enjoyed the entire show. I too want to know the fate of Ahsoka Tano and am pissed the way the series ended in season 5. I also want to find out about Darth Maul. He has an uncertain fate on the series as well too. It is very frustrating.

If I remember correctly, The Clone Wars was only supposed to have a certain amount of seasons and I believe it was five. They didn't want it to just run on and on, they wanted it to have a definite beginning, middle and end.

Episode 3 cost around $200 million to make and made 900+ million dollars worldwide. Not includig merchandise.

I am not suggesting that the quality of the story was indicitave of this. I am suggesting that 9 years into the internet sobbin buckets of tears it STILL made shiattons of money. "Dead" is an operative term.

Actually it's Twi'lek (with a pause), and she was murdered right in front of Anakin and Obi-Wan  by General Grievous with her own lightsaber... put it right through her from behind.
That scene never made it to SWIII, but it's in the dvd extras.

jeez that's too bad.

I was hoping it was COMPLETELY DEAD.

what do all the Star Wars Films and Cartoons have in common with getting an anal polyp removed in a garage?

The Clone Wars is easily the most watchable and entertaining thing to come out of the mess that was the newest trilogy.

Then again, I'm a big fan of Republic Commando, and wish they'd done a sequel to that game...

He wasn't wasted.  Darth Mall was supposed to be nothing more that a mad dog Sith. One dimensional, perhaps, but that's what his role was supposed to be.

Is it me or does the clone wars seem rather random and have no point or continuity to the battles?

It is it just showing the futility of interstellar warfare?
