A 1 1/2 hour drive, and the driver couldn't keep it together for that?

To be fair, that stretch of I-10 pretty much sucks anyways.  Especially at night.

This.

God, I hate that drive. There is a huge sense of relief when you get past Casa Grande, over that small ridge and can finally see the south Valley.

The bonus for clearing the ridge is that the lone rest area on that stretch of I-10 is on your right.

No, I don't think I'll EVER get over Casa Grande.

You think that stretch is bad, try the stretch on Highway 93 from Kingman to Wickenburg. That is some desolate shiat there.

Another shiatty drive is the to Prescott from Phoenix, that is the most boring farking drive ever, and I don't think it helped that's where my grandmother lives. Probably helps add to the dread.

/do I post graf here or hold out for another thread...

Big deal.  A 90 minute drive.  Wow.

As others have noted, it is a 90-minute drive. Why didn't they wait until the morning? Was the Rockies clubhouse manager waiting around the park to give him his new uniform at 3 am?
