Kelly Nash, a reporter who covers the Rays for Fox Sports Florida, was working on a future "Inside the Rays" story at Fenway Park when she decided to take some pictures of the scenery, Fox Sports Florida reports.

I wonder how many Rays have been inside her...

I wish my balls could be that close to her.

I don't know about her knees, but she almost had a sharp head.

Fake pic/videos must be a thing among Tampa reporters.

i thought a selfie was a new way to say 'trying to drown the little man in the boat' or 'killing kittens' or 'rubbing the maharajah's turbin' or something like that.

call me when there are pics and/or vids of her taking a ball or balls to the chin.

also reminds me of...

It would take less than a minute to recreate that photo.  An unseen assistant tosses a baseball straight up, quickly ducks out of frame, and some other reporter's career receives a sudden boost.

Holy shiat is that real?

100%. His name was Michael Hunt and he was the first confirmed death of the Iraq war.

""[Fox Sports] producer Art Dryce had called out 'heads up!' a few times while I was taking pictures around the left field section, but none of those balls actually fell close to me, so I took my chances turning my back on batting practice for a picture," Nash said, according to Fox Sports Florida. "

I can't see how that particular ball did not scare the shiat out of her when it went by and obviously fell close to her.  No way.

Mike Hunt, the foulest smelling, hairiest, disease infested, loose-lipped, camel-tower of the war.  Nice guy.

Looks legit to me.  It's bright and overexposed, so the shutter speed will be as fast as the camera can handle.  The ball would be moving quickly, but not necessarily spinning quickly, so you'd expect to see a slightly thicker looking seam, and that's what you get.  If it was faked, they'd have probably overdone the blur.  This looks like one of those "real looks faker" things, due to bad hollywood brainwashing about how much motion blur you should expect on a bright sunny day.

If that happened to me there is no way I would ever use any other picture for my profile, driver's license, passport, etc.

I would think that it is spinning a bit quickly, look at how it's more oblate than a baseball at rest would be.
