aaronx: Oh, look: a list on BuzzFeed.
hadleyvbaxendale: None of those people made a movie with Kevin Bacon
hubcity: The point of the original exercise was "here's a guy who had a couple of high-profile roles but isn't really all that huge of a star, yet everyone can be linked to him." The idea was, there were *lots* of bigger stars, but why not use Kevin Bacon? So yeah, list has no point; par for the Buzzfeed course.
Legios: I'm surprised Frank Welker isn't no. 1.But I guess he's not as big a name as everyone else on the list...
puckrock2000: 17. John Hurt, 2.851971 degrees[s3-ec.buzzfed.com image 625x419]Pictured in Alien.Given the lack of blood in that pic, I'm going to say that's actually the parody of the Alien scene in Spaceballs.
Seequinn: Didn't read tfa.Do any of those 40 other peoples names rhyme with "separation"?
browntimmy: I once got to be an extra in a movie so my Bacon number is 2. And yes, that is my life's greatest achievement.
museamused: I knew Michael Caine would be on the list. I can't remember the comedian but his joke went something like this:"How does Michael Caine answer the phone?""Hello - I'll do it."
Dingleberry Dickwad: I always wondered. Did people actually play the whole six degrees game, or was that one of those weird things that people talked about but never actually did? I never met a single person who played or even mentioned the game, and I've met a pretty fair number of people over the years.
SpdrJay: I'm one degree from Kevin Bacon!
notmtwain: SpdrJay: I'm one degree from Kevin Bacon!// That means you have met him personally. Explain the claim or be gone.// I keep Bacon in my refrigerator. How many degrees is that?
MacWizard: The best I can claim (as far as the list goes) is 2 degrees from Burt Reynolds, which isn't much to brag about (Worked for Mel Tillis several times, who was in at least one of the Smokey and the Bandit movies).
GameSprocket: How is Michael Caine so far down the list? I thought he had been in everything with everyone.
kbronsito: GameSprocket: How is Michael Caine so far down the list? I thought he had been in everything with everyone.given the Caine-Hackman theory, I would expect them to be the first two on the list.
amindtat: Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon is too mainstream. I prefer Six Degrees of Donal Logue.[www.nndb.com image 200x294]
malaktaus: John Wilkes Booth appeared in an 1863 production of MacBeth with Louisa Lane Drew.Louisa Lane Drew appeared in an 1896 production of The Rivals with Lionel Barrymore.Lionel Barrymore appeared in It's A Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stuart in 1948.Jimmy Stuart was in 1977′s Airport '77 with Jack Lemmon.Jack Lemmon was in JFK in 1991 with Kevin Bacon.
