I can't help but think that everyone involved in Pain & Gain movie should be a little ashamed. Taking a real life case of a dude's (historically recent) kidnapping, torture, and premeditated murder and turning it into a screwball comedy is pretty disgusting. They even changed the manner of the guy's death to make people sympathize with his killers more.

Eh, Fargo was based on real events, and it was a masterpiece. So was In Cold Blood (the book). The most offensive thing about Pain and Gain was always Michael Bay's involvement. He is cinematic cancer.

I read that entire Miami Herald article online about 2 weeks ago.  2 hours later my wife was curious what I was still doing up, I was so intrigued.  And then when I finished, I wondered how in the hell Michael Bay could turn that depressing turd of a story around and make it Bad Boys Lite?

I don't mind watching a movie for the sake of turning my brain off, but I won't spend a dime on this one.
