And sadly the thread misses the truly epic Fark-worthy 3 OT Bulls win.

The commentators on ESPN are awful! Luckily Fox Sports South is carrying the game too.

Ivan Johnson should play every minute of every game.

Lack of NBA thread only means that NBA isn't important to FARK. I mean, come on, look at how hockey threads go green compared to hoops.

/Bulls-Nets OTs were great.
//Likes both NBA and NHL
///This thread is late.

Yay, more of the first round of no suspense.  I just love 4-0 sweeps and lots of waiting around for the next series.

I'm pretty sure that game had the worst officiating I've ever seen.

How was Gerald Wallace tackling Nate Robinson mid-layup a nonshooting foul?

The return of Clutch City begins tonight.

To give Paul Peirce a chance to recuperate.

Yeah, it was pretty bad for both sides.  But if that type of BS gets Nate all fired up to score 34 off the bench - I'll take it!

I guess the battle between him and CJ is getting pretty bad; game 5 should be a blast in Brooklyn.

Flacman: Lack of

More like a lack of NBA threads to greenlight. This is the only one I saw in the submission queue today.

NBA is obviously not a FARK favorite (must be a lot of Canadian Farkers who like hockey), but I appreciate the greenlight which gives me the chance to say.....Hawks Win!! Albeit short lived.

29 comments on the NBA Playoffs...and 294 comments for an end of regular season NHL thread.

Yet ESPN keeps telling people..."lol hockey doesn't matter, keep watching thug-ball".

Guess what ESPN, Fark has figured you out, and we know you're full of shiat.

You may get a few bites here. Not sure though. You probably should have said "pre-determined thug-ball" instead.

Good luck though.

Pretty sure this says more about FARK than about the relative popularity of basketball to hockey in the US. All y'alls a bunch of honkys.

I'm just glad they could get in a little practice without Westbrook against their B team before they have to play in the playoffs...

Im not saying you are wrong but I think there is another factor too.
Hockey has become a far more TV friendly sport with the advent of High Definition TV. Used to be that hockey was nearly unwatchable if you didnt already like hockey. Now you can actually see the puck on TV so it has potential to draw in people who otherwise would never watch. It didnt draw i basketball fans so much as it drew in people whod otherwise be watching Dr Who or Jeopardy reruns.

Bummed that our allstar is out, but I'm glad golden state is getting some playoff experience. Bogut trade is working out. Like every pro sport ownership is key

Guess it didn't work.

It wasn't one of my better efforts anyhow.
