He's still facing those charges. From another article: "Dutschke is currently the subject of a child molestation investigation by the Tupelo Police Department and the Lee County Sheriff's Department"

So he's under investigation for like the two worst crimes anyone can be accused of.

Is there really anyone out there that truly thinks you can send something toxic to the President and have it get to them? I don't think so. Something strange is going on with this one.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Tupelo's police chief said Everett Dutschke is under arrest in connection wth the ricin letters sent to President Obama, U.S. Senator Roger Wicker and Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland.

Chief Tony Carleton said Dutschke was arrested around 1 a.m. Saturday by the FBI and turned over to the U.S. Marshals Service.  There's no word on what the charges against him will be.

It wouldn't make much sense for a Democrat to send an envelope of poison to President Obama.

He also allegedly sent a ricin-laced letter to a state judge who was the mother of the guy who beat him in the Mississippi House of Representative election.

Yep. His opponent's mother is the judge Dutschke is alleged to have sent ricin. And Dutschke was under a child-molestation investigation. A grand jury indicted him this month. The alleged victim is a 7-year-old girl from his studio. RINO.

And my stepson still wonders why we wouldn't let him go to the suspects house the other day.  He's friends with the suspect's stepson.  He also got a call from the friend last night asking that he come talk to the FBI this morning.  We said NO!! Of course, we're hearing that he's completely innocent on the ricin case as well as the molestation charges.   I don't personally know the guy, but I don't know if we will want our son going over there anytime soon.

In 2007 Dutschke was the Republican candidate for the Mississippi House of Representatives, 16th District. He lost by over 2,000 votes, which raises the question: how bad a politician do you have to be to run as a Republican in Mississippi and lose?
