That was spectacular.  Tosh-level cringe factor with a heart of gold.

Really cheered up my day. There are professional comedians that wish they were so polished and at ease.

Kid's got talent, and for a 14 year-old decent timing. Especially considering he's on national TV. The keeping his disability benefits joke cracked me up.

Do you know what I can't stand?
Let me re-emphasize,
Do you know what? I can't stand.
Awesome.

Nice wit, great timing, good delivery.

Not sure if this is current or old, but kudos to the kid. I hope he's able to make a career out of stand up.

Yeah. Too bad BGT doesn't have an 'English to American' translator though because some of the punchlines were lost (at least for me)

The standing ovation was just plain mean!

Yeah, he commented that he couldn't do that and that they were just rubbing it in. Hilarious kid!

I lost it at:

Wait let me re-emphasize

Seriously, I guffawed.

Nevermind.  For some reason, it wouldn't work for me on this site, but it works with the original YouTube video

Charming kid and he's definitely got a future in comedy writing. It's rare for someone so young to have such a full understanding of how jokes work.

Sorry I should have been more specific; it's not the different words  but rather that his accent was so thick in places I couldn't figure out what he said; for example one of his first jokes had something to do Quiditch(sp?) but I couldn't figure out what.

He said the audience's initial reaction to his appearance was probably along the lines of "Oh, look! Harry Potter had a horrble Quidditch accident".

Definitely a natural

I sincerely hope he's got enough material to take him to the final

Jesus, do we really need to cut to some doofus laughing historically every 5 seconds? It takes away from the routine and I'm not sure what purpose it serves. Annoying as hell.

"I'm a professional gymnast."

He dropped that one very casually. Perfect timing and a great opener.

I wondered about that too. Simon had much more natural reactions to the jokes, and seemed, dare I say, sincere. Why did we need to see an overacting hyena?
