The tavern's previous owner Lou Gentile...

Isn't that where Fight Club got started?

/"Who am I? There's a sign out front that says Lou's Tavern. I'm farkin' Lou. Who the fark are you?"

"The tavern's previous owner Lou Gentile told WKYC.com that he found what he said were human bones wrapped in red butcher paper inside the wall 25 years ago when they were doing renovations. They were neatly wrapped in seven football-shaped packages. When he called police, he was instructed to throw the bones away - which he did as he did not want the bar turned into a crime scene."

That's some good policin' there, Joe...

Everyone thinks that, until they get stabbed to death with a pen.

[tinfoil] When he called the cops, he got one that was in on killing Hoffa. [/tinfoil]

Sammy Davis' eye could be in there too

Real story: When he called the cops, they took one look at it, saw it was animal bones, and didn't want to waste their time.

IT WAS A FIGURE OF SPEECH...FIGURE..OF SPEECH!

But...but...George Noorey said Hoffa's body was crushed in a car and then shipped to Japan as scrap.  I heard it just last night when he was interviewing Richard Belzer.

So, your primary proof is based on speculation and an urban legend....

Did they find a cask of amontillado as well?

They need to give it up.  You are not going to find Jimmy Hoffa in a bar.  Dean Martin maybe, but not Jimmy Hoffa.

For the love of god

Since this story is in the Mail, I can only assume that Jimmy Hoffa is alive and living in plain sight, listed in the phone book under "Hoffa, J."

Protip: most Mob victims can be found within 10 minutes driving distance of where they were killed, because not even Mobsters want to drive around with a corpse in the trunk for any longer than they have to (mostly to avoid some clueless John Law pulling them over for some simple citation-worthy violation and discovering the body). And Hoffa was probably killed within 10 minutes driving distance of where he was last seen (drive for long enough for him to feel somewhat safe that he didn't get capped right away, *bang*, head for your pre-planned nearby body dump).

So within 20 minutes of Machus' Red Fox.

When you off somebody that high profile you make sure the body isn't ever found.

Seriously - is there any tissue of horseshiat so absurd that the Fail won't publish it? Who the f**k is capable of believing this nonsense?

Dean's reputation as heavy drinker was vastly overstated. He was usually in bed early so he could play golf the next day.

I have an uncle who was in the FBI's organized crime section back in the '70s who told me they know when and how Hoffa was killed. Claims Gambino had him shot in the head, stuffed in a steel drum, then peed on him. After that he was hauled away by people they couldn't monitor so they don't know where the body is, but it is presumably stuffed in a steel drum and covered in urine.

True or not? Don't know. Still a fun story to tell the kids.

Eh, probably not him.  I-75 South is probably his grave.

Now, some Cleveland wise guy?  Quite possible.

Ok, so, the diner where Hoffa was last seen was at 6646 Telegraph Rd., Bloomfield Twshp, MI, for those curious. That puts this little diner at roughly 180 miles away. Yeah, I'm not driving three hours from the north side of Detroit all the way around the hook of Lake Erie just to wall Jimmy Hoffa up in some dive's basement. Especially when there's a whole ton of perfectly good golf courses, lakes, and Detroit body dumps within a hop, skip, and a jump from where he was last seen.

2013-04-26 03:22:55 PM
I have it on good authority from a stool pigeon that is NOT the wall where Hoffa's bones were deposited.
