Few things are more dangerous than a junky bear.

Let's see them try that in a few months. Would have been more acceptable to the bear if the medicine was injected.

I came back from a 17-day backpack trip in the Trinity Alps to find that a black bear had ransacked four vehicles parked at the trailhead. He ate the rubber weatherstripping off my windshield, took a bite out of my '76 Union antenna-ball, totalled a fellow hiker's vintage BMW (we warned him not to even leave a McDonalds wrapper in his car; he had a 40-lb bag of dog food in his trunk so he was a dumbshiat), and got into the bed of another pickup truck and bit into and drank two quarts of motor oil (I bet that cleaned his colon).

So I'll wager that the bear cub didn't object so much to the flavor as the delivery method. If they'd have spread it on some Purina Cub Chow, He'd have probably taken his medicine quite willingly.

AllShelleyAllTheTime: Adorable until he grows up and eats your face

Just cover your face with Tramadol and you'll be fine.

Tramadol is apparently very bitter. Had to give it to my dog for a while and it was nearly impossible. Encapsulated in a coating of liquid cheese, once cooled covered with meat and bacon grease. Even then it was a 50/50 shot of getting down.

Followed the link to the status update on the bear and saw the intern feeding him the meds...  An animal lover and cute? Yes please.
