It must be something they teach their members in their cult meetings.

He's gotta make some money now that gold has tanked, amiright? And siphoning off money from his supporters is perfectly legal.

If Paultards put the effort and resources they invest in this scam artist into direct action, the world would be a vastly better place.

Then again, if they were interested in making the world a better place, they wouldn't be Paultards.

Ron Paul has a list of Ron Paul supporters. He would be stupid not to exploit those gullible flesh sacks.

It seems like a perfect match for me - relying on small government (lax fraud laws) to rope in people who think they're the smartest guys in the room, destined to be the one who gets it all.

The best part is half the people will know that MLM is a scam, but still buy into it because they think knowing that will somehow let them be on the right side of the scam.

/doesn't look like it's actually connected to RON PAUL, but still, I applaud this guy's effort. Usually it's attached to religion instead.

MLM is legal in the same way that for-profit prisons, hedge-funds managers pay less taxes, and a myriad of other tricks that should be illegal, but lawyers managed to fit enough BS into the contract to shield the MLM operators from financial liability, as well as lobbying legislators to make enough of it legal. Anything can be legal if you buy the right legislators to pass a bill legalizing it.

Nevertheless, even if it were legal, it's still damned hard to earn money doing so.

Is this the same   Doug Wead, I don't think I have ever seen someone whose claim to fame is as a historian that wiki didn't have a section on where they received their education. From 1984 to 2000, he served as an on-and-off adviser to both presidents George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush

I thought the RON PAUL fanboys didn't like the Old Guard of the Republican Party.

Under "MLM critics": Sometimes there are scandals. Yes... Chinese toy makers were using deadly lead paint on toys that were marketed to the children of the world. An American peanut manufacturer was overlooking the issue of contaminated peanut butter to keep their profits flowing uninterrupted.

I don't get it. How is this possible? Shouldn't they know that having unsafe products would hurt sales?

They're Endtimes Economic Evangelicals. They don't want the world to get better. They want it to crash and burn so they can point and go "nyah nyah I told you so! I was right and you were wrong!"

Because that's what matters most to them. More than human suffering.

Pretty much. The thing about economic doomsayers is that they eventually get a crisis they can point to and sustain them for a few more years. So Paul and a bunch of others are crowing about how they "predicted" the housing crisis but ignore that their other predictions like hyperinflation, or the end of the dollar, have not.

You forgot the part where their "prediction" of the housing crisis was that it would collapse due to hyperinflation.  Which it clearly did not do.

Disclaimer: (1) I think this is a horrible scheme and will not ever join, (2) I am not a follower of Ron Paul, though I voted for him in the primaries.

So the people putting this together are pushing a picture that one of them took with Ron Paul.

That's not proof that he is in any way involved.

The "team" that they publicize includes "Ronnie Paul" and Doug Wead, Ron's son and someone from his campaign team, respectively. And a bunch of "former" Amway participants. There's enough derp here that you don't even need to tie in Ron to have a field day mocking these people.

Don't forget the leading economists that screamed that "SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!!!! Lest we get 7% unemployment!" And then, despite all the bailouts, we hit 9% unemployment.

Ron Paul's top campaign staffers and immediate family are pushing Ron Paul's image to market a scam.  If Ron Paul doesn't approve, then why hasn't he told them to take it down?

Seems like a rehash of the newsletter excuse all over again.

His name also isn't on the staff page for "Campaign for Liberty."

After years of lying about the newsletter, Ron Paul has mastered the art of pimping out his name while avoiding accountability.

It's true. We didn't spend nearly enough to blunt the effects of the housing crisis.

He has his name on it, his son's one of the higher-ups, it's a clear pyramid scheme intended to get stupid peoples' cash, he deserves to be painted with the goddamn brush. This garbage and his name being linked to it should be all the evidence needed to knock his bullshiat out of the head of any Paul follower with half a brain cell.
