APE992: So why does this sponsored link get a comments thread?

Good question.  Personally, I usually check out comments before I go to the article, so the Featured Partners get 0 clicks from me.

/not gonna click on this link, either

Same here. I pay $5 a month for this crap and that means someone has to answer my questions no matter how drunk I may be.

sponsored links have always had comments enabled.

featured partners are something new this year and comments are disabled.

"sponsored link" != "featured partner"

I realisticly think if you're a TF member, there should be an option to remove featured partner bullshiat.

So it's in some dialect of "spanish" and gets a free pass?  Ok...

Now I'm wondering if 'es personal' or 'esta personal' is proper. Pretty sure 'esta ves' should read 'este vez' either way. Any native speakers, feel free to correct me.

I've actually learned to notice the graphical difference between the real AMUSING tag and the fake one used by the Featured Partner links.

I'm not a native speaker, but "vez" is a female word, so it's "esta vez".  I'm not sure whether it should be "es personal" or "está personal"; the difference between the two "to be" forms has always confused me.  I would have said "Esta vez, está personal".

Note that there is an accent on the verb; that's the way you distinguish "this" from "is"/"it is".

Would it be wrong to turn this sponsored link comment section into, perhaps, comments of a pictorial / pictoral (?) nature professing our love of beautiful human beings of a certain female, curvy nature ?

/ ESTA VEZ? Is that a Sheen reference ?

As a native speaker, "es personal" is the correct form. "Ser" (es) is usually for a permanent state or describing something that doesn't change often (My wife is very intelligent - Mi esposa es muy inteligente), while "Estar" (está) is for a temporary state (My wife is very sick - Mi esposa está muy enferma.) This site gives more information on the difference between the two verbs.

You pay $5 to see all the crap that wasn't good enough to make it to the regular site so why are you complaining about having to see crap?

Yes, what has always interested me about some TFers is how they somehow think they are superior....by paying money to get unfiltered and shiatty links, a cute tag by their name, and still get blasted with adverts.  I have no idea how anyone could claim any sense of superiority by paying 5 bucks a month for an extra spoonful of shiat.
