I am long for the days when there were Republicans like Bob Packwood.

2013-04-24 04:11:12 PM
No no, it's a typo! What he meant was:

"Nice hat working america chick but damn, you are radical, biatch!"

2013-04-24 04:33:47 PM
Maybe he was reaching out to the rap community.

2013-04-24 04:47:12 PM
These assholes aren't even trying any more.

2013-04-24 06:08:30 PM
No way!
Hey, at least he complimented her hat before he put her in her place.

2013-04-24 06:31:53 PM
Gnarly.

2013-04-24 06:33:18 PM
Wow.

2013-04-24 06:38:34 PM
How am I supposed to make an informed opinion on this situation without a picture of the hat?

I'm beginning to gradually adopt that point of view. Its nice to see assholes expose themselves as assholes in real time.

that man looks angry. someone watch the clip and tells me how it goes.

2013-04-24 07:54:51 PM
Seriously, sh*t like this should be on every single advertisement for EVERY Democrat running for office in the next few years.

MAKE IT STICK. And point out that these are NOT isolated cases.

Bob Cornelius, the county Republican party's former executive director, replied to Kush's "nice boots" remark Tuesday by insinuating that Evans is a prostitute. "Maybe she uses those shoes to walk Central," he wrote under Kush's post, referring to a street that is notorious for prostitution. "Even in this economy she can exchange bumper cables for boots."

Stay classy!

What the man meant to say was no drone would be used against her hat until it was proven guilty in a court of law.

Unless the hat was coming out of a liquor store with a weapon and $50. Then, by all means, blowed it up real good.

Last week, we were 'vaginas'.  Kudos to the GOP for the attempt to soften the rhetoric.

Well how dare he... He should learn from liberals, who would never use a racist or sexist term to refer to any woman they disagree with... Except every chance they get.

This would be the same group that cheered when a Democrat went off on a racist insulting tirade against somebody who sent an email to him asking him to support various 2nd Amendment issues.

But really, don't you dare insult anyone... If you're a Republican.

2013-04-24 08:07:56 PM
Apparently they claim they were trying to be funny.  Why is it that conservative "humor" involves being a hurtful asshole?

He used "chick" twice. I know a number of broads who find "chick" offensive.

Perhaps the GOP should consider some sort of approval process for their tweets.

Though, that wouldn't be near enough to cover all their avenues of dumbassery.

Gay Marriage is immoral, but calling a 19 year old activist for workers a whore and a biatch for opening her dick holster in Santa Fe is totally okay.

My first thought was that maybe he was drunk. But even I don't post sh*t this stupid after enough scotch to kill a large walrus. So now I'm wondering if maybe he's just a farking asshole.

The issue here isn't so much about what was said (teenage girls say far more horrible things to each other than Kush did), but that he was farking dumb enough to TWEET it. I think it's stupid when Bill Maher calls someone a "coont," too. Or twat. Whatever it was, it broke decorum even if I think he was correct in his estimation.

If a guy like me can drink almost a fifth of Johnnie Walker and still manage not to make an ass of myself online - using my REAL NAME and title, no less - how much trust would you have in his calling shots for the party?

What I mean is that while we all say dumb sh*t on Fark, none of us are dumb enough to use real names when we're the chair of a major party for the county. I.e., if you're that absent-minded, you have no business coordinating a trip to Old Country Buffet, let alone politics. At least Weiner's texts were private (though also dumb).

It used to be something more like sexual harassment, Now it's more like creating and then breaking sodomy laws in seven states.

A post about politicians exposing themselves and you went for Ted Kennedy? Come on, you're better than that. It was just begging for an Anthony Weiner joke

Satanic_Hamster: Bill Maher isn't a party leader or elected official.

Yeah, that wasn't the best example I could have used.

Still, comments like that can have other consequences, such as advertising or general backlash. In Maher's case, I'm pretty sure his target audience did think Palin was a twat, but it was still kind of risky when there are a million other ways to say it.

Republicans: I think you should adopt a message for women similar to the one you direct at racial minorities. I.e., "if you broads weren't so ignorant and stupid, you'd see how liberals are the real sexists."

I assure you this one will be as effective on women as your other messaging is on racial minorities.
