The Ramskeller....damn, I haven't been there in 20 years.

Why is this "stupid," subby?  Some people go to college to learn how to operate businesses.  There are thousands of brewing businesses in this country, and the industry accounts for many billions of dollars annually of US manufacturing.  Why is it a bad thing for college kids to get hands-on instruction in the operations intrinsic to billion-dollar industries?

CSU CSB time.

My physics professor came in to class one day drunk off his ass. He started describing his adventures doing the mall crawl the night before. Eventually he decided to try and teach, and after several failed attempts to stand up, managed to pull the chalkboard down. His DTs were rattling the board so much he couldn't write. At this point he complained it was too hot and took off his shirt. By this time some prudes had gone to the department head, and he was escorted out before he could take off his pants.

I used to see him in the Ramskeller every Friday.

We got a new physics professor that wasn't as fun.

As much as I've biatched about misuse of the HERO tag....I would have approved of it in this case.

Fat Tire isn't bad.  Like, if a bar has Fat Tire, something awful, and some other something awful, I'll get the Fat Tire and be happy with it.

That being said, there are like 9000 better choices in CO, aka Beer Heaven.

There are culinary programs that already have sections on making wines and beer.   It's a business field same as any other that students should be training to work in.

Not quite.

Down here, NMSU has these programs under their School of Ag.  Being as how CSU is a land grant school too, this coursework probably finds its way into their School of Ag as well.

I believe it was it Sports Illustrated that ran an article entitled "Fort Collins: A Drinking Town With A College Problem," and boy ain't that the truth.

But don't you dare try to sell weed to cancer patients and veterans, or they'll throw your ass out of town.

I really frigging hate that town.

Hey, maybe someone here can help me.  There was a huge bar about 30 miles up the Poudre right on the river banks, with live music...
Maybe Okijobis in one iteration?

What was that?
Is it still there?

Meh, most Fat Tire is mass produced swill, but Rampant isn't that bad.  Nothing even close to the top 10 in my book, but a solid DIPA nonetheless.

Isn't it true that there are more bars per capita in Wisconsin than anywhere else? Not that I have ever complained visiting the beautiful city of Madison.

Stupid tag is self-referential?  This is a good idea, breweries are a serious business now and there are almost zero education oppurtunities for them. Yes there are some very expensive pay-to-play brewery schools out there, but those are kind of crappy imho.
