It's still legal, right? How is this ironic?

Mrbogey: neongoats: Why is that inconvenient, exactly?

Unless they are selling them to make Chef Boy Ar Dee Ravioli meat sauce, I don't exactly see the problem here.

We need more abortions, and more abortions, and more abortions, until we hit peak abortion and you morons realize that easy, over the counter access to birth control coupled with a few hours of education would do more to decrease the abortion rate than any kind of woman hating laws you GOP farkers love to pass.

"Woman hating" is now defined as thinking Kermit Gosnell's clinic should have been shut down. Nothing says lovin' like killing and abusing women.

Wat?

Sock Ruh Tease: Sometimes I read "abortionist" as "abolitionist" but it doesn't matter because the Republican point of view toward both is similar.

Sometimes I parse it as "arborist" or arbortionist which really doesn't make any sense.

Won't someone think of the trees???

Anywho, Sharon Malone Holder is herself an OB/GYN. [...]It also explains a lot of the Attorney General's bias against pro-lifers. You know, when he's not SUPPOSED to be biased, being the Attorney General and whatnot.

Wake me when the justice department is actually coming for Sharon Holder over some issue and then we might talk of potential conflicts of interest. Until then, you got nuttin.

Lumpmoose: Good for her.  Anyone in the abortion business these days is a hero in my book with the constant threats and abusive local governments they have to put up with.  Especially in the deep south.

It also explains a lot of the Attorney General's bias against pro-lifers.  You know, when he's not SUPPOSED to be biased, being the Attorney General and whatnot.

I would tend to think the US Attorney General would follow the federal mandates of the US Supreme Court.  It's the states bucking Roe v. Wade that are out of line.

hahahahahaha.... let me guess its only bias when its against them?

So, if this is the foundation of a string of connections, then if any Senator or Representative has anyone near them that is indicted for fraud, does that mean that they are automatically guilty as well? Because I can see some lovely unintended consequences for pretty much all of Congress, not to mention state legislatures and Governors' offices around the nation with this thinking...

You have to understand that conservatives don't actually believe that sanctity of life stuff they throw around. What they really want is to punish people who have sex. If you have premarital sex, if you enjoy sex, you must suffer! It's why they're against both birth control and abortions and are so pro-rape.

There is a meme in the right wing fever swamps that everyone who is pro-choice hearts Kermit Gosnell and defends him passionately.  This is despite the fact that pretty much nobody short of his attorneys has defended Gosnell.  But if you scream long enough and loud enough that Kermit Gosnell is a beloved figure in the pro-choice movement, then eventually it comes wingnut fact.

They mean that Roe v. Wade has plaque buildup and is in danger of clotting, and they're proposing to graft a vein from another piece of jurisprudence onto it in order to restore proper blood flow.

This just in: American conservatives are generally reactionary, uneducated, overly emotional and, above all, stupid.

This is another fleecing of those who haven't the slightest clue concerning the workings of the American judicial system.

Of course, they act surprised when after all the demonization, killing and terrorizing of legitimate doctors who dare venture in the world of women's health that a monster would fill the void where there is a demand market.

Please note, this only applies to women. Men enjoying premarital sex is just "sowing their wild oats" and "boys will be boys", or at worst kind of a minor thing. It is women that should feel ashamed and dirty for being human, and therefore interested in having sex fairly regularly, what with it being one of the most important biological imperatives your body will impress on you for a large chunk of your life.

Seriously, how many times do I have to tell you guys?

Because Jebus loves the little children.

Apparently, stretching my brain to  grasp at anything that might be a point, and DNRTFA, the writer is trying to manufacture some outrage that the ATTORNEY GENERAL'S WIFE might have WORKED IN THE SAME PRACTICE as a person who has been ACCUSED OF FRAUD.

Because, after all, the the Right has every right (heh) in the world to demand that DEMOCRATS are held to the same moral standards as Republicans!

They grasp satire all right, just not from the usual end. Actually, it's more like they are grasped by it.

Let me get this straight.

Eric Holder has a sister.

Eric Holder's sister has a building.

Eric Holder's sister's building is the site of a business.

Working for that business is a man who was once investigated for fraud.

Therefore, Eric Holder is clearly guilty of - well, we don't know what, but it must be SOMETHING HUGE!

Tell me about it.  I live in Germantown, MD.  Across the road (and a bit down the block a bit, I don't have too much to worry about flying debris/stray rounds) is the only late-term abortion provider in Maryland.  The doctor, Richard Tilman is one of the surviving partners of that assassination in Wichita.  The doctor is basically living the life of Salman Rushdie and expecting that no matter how much he covers his tracks someone will kill him when he shows up for work.

If you read the article and you thought that the landlord wasn't that big a deal than you don't know these people.  They know that since the doctor *knows* they are trying to kill him and that hasn't stopped him, maybe they can work on the landlord.  This is what you can expect from those people:

Death threats to landlord, landlord's kids ("God bless your children _$names_, attending Robert Frost Middle School between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm"), landlord's inlaws (landlord's parents, if alive, are old school prochoicers who would probably say something like "come by and stand where I can shoot you").
- note that these have been reduced to "tolerable" as they block caller ID blocked numbers and tweet the
numbers that threaten them (which then get DDOSed with counter calls).
http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2012-03-29/local/35449297_1_leroy -c arhart-george-tiller-late-term-abortions

Protesting in front of landlord kid's school (will no one rid of us these meddlesome kids?).  This didn't last too long as they didn't notice they are in Montgomery County Maryland, traditional home home of the liberal establishment.  God help kids caught in this situation in Derpistan.
http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2011-09-12/national/35274786_1_an ti abortion-protesters-college-park-abortion-clinic-middle-school

So far, that oversized block has had a priest murdered, a domestic case with a mom and child murdered, and we really don't need an active terrorist cell slowly plotting their next big kill.
