Weird.

I think I've seen this guy stumbling about on Front Street in Traverse City a few times. I didn't realize it was Madonna's brother.

His face hit the floor more times than his sister's songs hit the charts.

Of course this is all Madonnas fault. She should be throwing her millions of dollars at him, supplying him with a steady stream of booze and anything else he wishes because FAMILY. What a selfish biatch.

I hope that's sarcasm.

My brother spent a while homeless too. Eventually, he had to learn shiat for himself. Some people never do.

If this guy had access to a hundred grand worth of his drug of choice, he'd just OD.

I assume you read a story prior to this one or perhaps from a different source. I have yet to see anyone suggest what you have.

Yes,that was sarcasm. And yes, it was referencing the prior story from a few weeks back in which he was biatching about the whole family refusing to support his addiction. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough on the sarcasm part. Low blood sugar and whatnot...

I smell a reality show campaign.  "Obscure blacksheep relatives of washed up celebrities compete for...", you kind of force the starpower even if they want nothing to do with the living embarrassment that is their sibling/parent/kid/best friend's dog's priest's friend.  Whether the celeb wants to participate or not you get to drag their names into context often, the drooling reality show watchers would have no choice, nor would the entertainment industry's fulch-fest like TMZ.  The blacksheep get revenge on their rich family member and make a glorious ass of themself on national TV.  We get to laugh at mental illness.

Hrm...I think I need to call my agent.

We still have 2 feet of snow up here in northern Michigan.  we're supposed to get more this week

Traverse City Police Capt. Brian Heffner said Ciccone resisted a female police officer late Sunday when she attempted to restrain and arrest him on an outstanding trespassing warrant.
"He pulled away, turned around and confronted the female officer in an aggressive manner," he said. "She turned him around and brought him to the ground, which is when he struck his face on the bathroom floor."

Well he was drunk, of course he's not going to let a woman tell him what to do.
She obviously took care of business though.

She should probably get him treatment at least. If your brother dies homeless on the street, it's not exactly a ringing endorsement of your character.

IIRC, she did. At least twice, but he wasn't interested in treatment.

I can't help but feel sorry for the guy, and yeah i'm prone to assuming Madonna could do better for her family and help out, why? because thats what I do now
My brother had a homeless stint once. I could have had him move in with me but I didnt and I swore I would never let him go homeless again.
He's not even an addict, just ADD and a bit thickheaded. He's also a vet. He's in school now, and I couldn't be more proud, and just happy that he's safe

I would feel bad for him but from the last time we heard from him about how his family wouldnt help him, yet in the past they tried to help him a lot, but he wouldnt sober up and kept farkin em over. So screw him let him clean up or clear out.

The previous story about this guy basically spells out why she no longer tries to help him, in a nut shell he's an unrepentant selfish asshole and rejects all attempts to clean himself up or do anything other then be a burden upon everyone around him.  So with that in mind...

2013-04-24 03:26:02 PM
The problem I have with Mr. Ciccone is that he insists on being homeless in northern Michigan in winter. It's hard to feel much sympathy for a drunken bum who ain't got the sense to go someplace warmer. The "drunken bum" part is fine with me though.

I were his bazillionaire brother I'd give him an allowance through some kind of caretaker: he'd get a one bedroom apartment, groceries, a TV, phone & computer, reasonable medical bills (no nose job or sex change) and a ration of cheap booze. La famiglia è tutto.

You say that like it's a bad thing. What's so great about sobriety? As for being "an unrepentant selfish asshole," he is a Ciccone.
If he's a pain to his family they don't have to put up with him, but they shouldn't let him be a bum on the street either.
