THE GUN IS ALWAYS LOADED!
Apos: THE GUN IS ALWAYS LOADED!
Sin_City_Superhero: It happens.
Pocket Ninja: This was incredibly ironic. I know because it says so right there in the article. Incredibly. Ironic. The irony is incredible. It's so incredible it almost needs to have its own word. Ironicible. When something's not just ironic, it's incredibly ironic, it's ironicible.Opposing Views. Writing that's so well written, it's ironicible.
Altair: Sin_City_Superhero: It happens.Yes, quite often..
propasaurus: Altair: Sin_City_Superhero: It happens.Yes, quite often..What's with churches aging HAVING firearms classes?
hardinparamedic: How the hell do you "accidentally" shoot yourself with an M1911-style weapon? Those things were designed for the US Military. They're literally designed to be idiot proof. You have to approach FARK Politics Thread level stupidity to accidentally shoot yourself with one.Let's review, Children:1) It's ALWAYS loaded. What do you mean it's disassembled. It's still loaded until proven otherwise, you idgit.2) Booger Hook off the Bang Switch3) Point it away from people, places, and anything you don't want to die.
propasaurus: propasaurus: Altair: Sin_City_Superhero: It happens.Yes, quite often..What's with churches aging HAVING firearms classes?FTFM/goddam autocorrect
squibbits: Smart gun owners never make the headlines.
hardinparamedic: 2) Booger Hook off the Bang Switch
Glitchwerks: hardinparamedic: 2) Booger Hook off the Bang SwitchThat is an awesome band name right there.
Nina_Hartley's_Ass: squibbits: Smart gun owners never make the headlines.Which is surprising considering all the home invaders and feral pigs they're shooting in their pajamas.
asmodeus224: no charges, he was sorry...typical bs. gun owners don't eant responsibility and accountability, they just want the dick extender.
MFAWG: Why is it always an 'instructor'?Who the fark certifies these people?
gogglesdonothing: 1911's break... that's what they do... it's an old and flawed design
dustman81: gogglesdonothing: 1911's break... that's what they do... it's an old and flawed designIt's been around for over 100 years so John Browning must have done something right.and we still use muzzleloaders, single shots, and revolvers... doesn't make it the best choice
fusillade762: Reminds me of this story from barely more than a week ago:Oregon City police identify 9-year-old girl, shooter in Sunday's accidental shooting deathInitial reports said he had been cleaning the gun, but it turns out he was practicing his quick draw. I'm not sure which is dumber.
tuna fingers: I loathe guns. Two kids I was growing up with offed themselves accidentally with their dads' guns. This was 2 separate occasions. I just believe kids and guns don't ever mix well.My dad had guns too. I didn't play with them - and they weren't locked up correctly by any standard. But my dad did have a stash of Playboy and Penthouse that he locked away from us. I did manage to sneak the keys or just break the lock when needed.I believe that if a kid has an inkling to get at his dad's locked guns he will. It's not like the kid has to get in there in 60 seconds. He can figure out ways to get in there over months and years of time. Right around the same time he experiments with booze and pot.I loathe guns./end rant
