That was interesting and then I randomly Googled "Joshua Brady" and got a bunch of results like this:  http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=861544

FTA: "The following day, Torres and his brother-in-law entered a BB&T bank in Alexandria. It was packed, so the pair quickly left without making an attempt. On Friday, Torres made what would be his last-and worst-attempt. He, a cousin, a friend, and his brother-in-law tried to rob the same BB&T branch. It was again busy."

"You robbed the same bank twice?"
"Nah, the first time was just to case the joint and rob it a little..."

So he attempted to rob how many banks and never got any money?

Apparently the security works.

That's got to be one of the most screwed up things I've ever read.  Why can't any of my robbery clients ever be undercover CIA dupes?

My father had a job like that right out of college. He was working for a bank though and didn't get to keep the money.

He just sat around with a few other guys thinking of different ways to steal from one of their branches. He never got told if any of his plans worked (bank security decided their feasibility).

Apparently the bank hired a few recent college graduates every year to do this for a year from the same college. The amusing thing about is that it was a seminary college where they trained Ministers...

This bank's not gonna fall into the hands of the American CIA. It's gonna fall in our hands. You see, we're just a private enterprise operation.

i try to pull this stuff with my friends all the time.  I'll  just throw out something that's complete bullshiat, but I'll do it full dead pan with srs face.  It never gets old watching the anger.  I also try to give orders "hey get me a beer" or "hey go check on so and so", you'd be surprised how often if you look serious and use the right tone, they just get up and do it.

Social engineering; it's probably 80% of what hackers actually do.  It's also coincidentally about 80% of the plots on 'Burn Notice' for pretty much that reason.  Act like you belong, don't rock the boat, and you can get into a lot of places you probably shouldn't.

I don't really understand why people will actually respond to a demand by saying, "Why can't YOU do it", but will still do it anyway if you just stare at them in response.  It's like just stating something is unfair is sufficiently satisfying that people would rather participate in an unfair situation to avoid having to justify their own actions, regardless of how correct their own reasoning is.

As nasty as it sounds, my respect for you will be dicated in large part by how you respond to these antics of mine.  I prefer people who tell me to get farked, they're generally more fun to hang out with.

Did some Google sleuthing on Josh Brady and found this.  HAS to be the same guy:

"First, I want to say thank you to everyone that posted their stories on this site. When I first found out in January 2009 that my 15 year old sister had been talking to "josh" for over two years and was claiming her status on social networking sites as "in a serious relationship", I did as much research as possible to find out who this crazy pedophile sounding guy was. I've read all kinds of posts on WHT, dsl reports, broadband reports, free press release on SOM, SOMS, SOMITHO, FUNZIZE, Josh Brady and every other name he has used and the folks at WHT have given my family a boatload of supporting evidence to support our claims of fraud.

By the way, he was served in Chesterfield County, VA yesterday. Josh Brady is his real name. The Petersburg, VA address still works, despite his claims of living in Charlottesville and Richmond. He has gotten my 16 year old sister into a lot of trouble and last week, he got her to go along with his scam with a local car dealership. He convinced the sales manager to go along with his story as well. While I can't go into all of those details (until the court case is over tomorrow), I can go into a bit of detail about our story.

I received a call from my sister in January stating that her best friend and (*sic* boyfriend) wanted to talk to me on the phone about their "relationship". Even though we live in different cities, I'm very close with my sister and this was the first I had heard of this guy. Apparently, in 2007 he im'ed her out of nowhere (similarly to the young girl in Chicago in 2007) under the name FUNZIZE and claimed to know friends of hers. Two years later and approaching her 16th birthday, she claimed that she could emancipate herself and live with this rich guy that she met online.... I can't even begin to go into all of the drama that has taken place over the last six months. Harassing phone calls, identity fraud (both my and my boyfriend's bank and email accounts were hacked into shortly after Josh called me. Yes, I actually spoke with him on the phone for over an hour.

Despite the efforts of my parents, her teachers and counselor at school and the rest of our family, she is lying and going behind everyone's backs in order to talk to him. My mother is not internet savvy at all and had no idea that she could communicate with him in so many different ways. She finally disconnected the internet and took my sister's phone away. This week, my sister mysteriously received another phone. He has promised her friends cars and has been continually harassing me from different numbers on my cell phone. My sister is failing all of her classes (from being on the phone with him all night and texting him all day during class) and the school counselor has agreed to appear in court. Oh yeah, Josh called him at the school and demanded to be in a three way conversation with both the counselor and my sister.

He's convinced my sister...(more like brainwashed her) into thinking that this behavior is ok. When my mother forbid him from calling, my sister had a new friend "Ryan" appear out of nowhere. I told my mother it was Josh, and to call the parents of this Ryan guy, but again, she's too trusting and wanted to give my sister the benefit of the doubt. Ryan's father phoned her and my mom seemed convinced that he was legit. Ryan's father was apparently a tax attorney in DC, Thomas Cryan (yeah, I know! "RYAN CRYAN").... This Thomas Cryan is a real person, but he's in his early 40's and lives in Virginia.. and doesn't have a son in high school. The number that he called her from turned out to be another number that Josh had set up in the District.

The final straw was Josh getting my sister involved with the car scam. All things told, this guy is a creep and liar and I hope he shows up tomorrow.

Sorry if this email seems to jump all over the place, but I wanted to say thanks again to all of the people that posted. I can't imagine all of the people he has screwed over the years and I hope this is the last time. I'll post an update for anyone who is interested.

And! I'll also be bringing copies of all of your posts to court tomorrow. Wish us (my family) luck!

maybe it helps that each robbery attempt was a failure.  but, kind of surprising, it's rare that law enforcement isn't gung ho about getting a conviction.  well, i guess plea bargain is as good as anything else.  closes a pretty silly case without too much work

He does seem to have some personality characteristics that might be useful to a certain three letter agency given a little bit of training. They'll probably hire him if he can keep his nose clean during his house arrest.
