She was in an airport, $500/glass is probably cheaper than the bar was charging.

She probably just drank enough to lower her raging biatch threshold.

Frickin' 2 drink lightweights defrauding our innkeepers.  There's got to be a better story than just refusing to pay.  Bartender probably told her he wasn't into other dudes but lose a little weight you'd look pretty good for a 60 year old.

Came here to say this. As much as I try to avoid O'Hare, I have a 2.5 hour layover there later this summer...that's gonna be a hefty bar bill, especially if there are delays.

Perhaps if you paid more attention to personal grooming, someone would have stepped up to purchase your wine for you, ma'am.

But hey, if  you like the Susan Powter look, you go for it.  Just don't expect us to play along.

The help of xanax or vicodine can really send you on a ride with 2 glasses of wine.

Yeah, I'm going with narcotic synergy... that or she already got loaded on the flight and this was just the coup de grâce.

Only 2.5 hours?  That might be enough time to get between your gates at O'Hare, just in time to board with the unwashed masses, especially if you're flying American and American Eagle/Connection.

My last two layovers in ORD included a red-eye connection from Hawaii.  The Starbucks didn't open until 6:15.  I sat on the floor and stared at it for 90 minutes.

I'm stunned she wasn't arrested for being a terrorist, what with her being in the airport and all.

LOL, I am flying American and Eagle, in the evening, through OHare in May. I expect a thunderstorm delay. I'm also a frequent flyer and have managed to avoid ORD like the damn plague since 2007. I -always- go through DFW, but this time there was no choice based on destination and available flights that I could use to get out of Cedar Rapids and back toward home (near ELP).

For the sake of seeing my oldest graduate from High School, I'll do it. At least I did get a DFW connection on the way to Iowa.

/DFW isn't much better for thunderstorms, but they seem to get things back up and running faster
//That and getting between gates is so much faster there
///Airport beer is expensive no matter where you go
