Ontario and Quebec seem to have a bit of a monopoly on the crazy Muslin types up this way. Probably because in the Maritimes they can't understand a word anyone says to recruit people, the rednecks across the Prairies run them out before they get settled, and when they get to BC the cloud of funky smoke mellows them out before they get too wound up...

Except this time, we didn't stop one so much as keep them from completely getting away with it.

Point goes to Canada.

So is every potential terror plot worldwide in the next few weeks going to have to carry the disclaimer "not linked to Boston"? I mean, I know Americans are panicky idiots that think they are the literal center of the world but still. It's kind of trite.

A Canadian terrorist plot targeting a railroad between Toronto and NYC... our speculative options for who thwarted the plan narrows down to either Archer or Dudley Do-Right.

Toronto and Boston are only 550 miles apart, and there has been quite a bit of terrorism going on in America for the past week.

But no reason to worry, guys, A Shambling Mound assures us that it is stupid to look for connections between events.

They stopped riding caribou in 1976.
Lassoing, harnessing, and taming a caribou is, however, still a part of the RCMP training process, mostly in the name of tradition.
