The only thing these revisionist Reaganites accomplish by trying to get everything named after him is reminding me what a terrible person Reagan was.

The LR airport is actually pretty nice. Also, LR is about the only place in this horrid state where intelligence is valued and not spit on (ahem, Nate Bell).

Oh, and believe it or not, the Clinton library is one of the (if not the) most visited presidential libraries. It's really awesome, and I don't take advantage of my free admission as a university system employee often enough.

Sad show of power. Two opportunities to pay homage to pioneers or famous figures of aviation wasted.

Oh, and nobody around here is calling it the Hillbilly airport. I don't think that reporter from the NY Daily News has actually -been- to Little Rock. Despite being stuck in the middle of Arkansas, it's really rather nice.

I haven't driven up there yet. I just moved here last July, I imagine that it's just about like any other southern college town, except full of Arkansas fans.

look libs, you obviously don't care about the defense of this great nation. reagan kept us safe from any attack that would have been a blight on our nation. while you libs were being scaredy felines, reagan did what it took to guard our great nation. sure he may not have been a real gem, but no one is psychic. are you really going to carve up his name with such great hunger? go blow that horn elsewhere libs, because no one is listening to your whims. if you're not going to be a team player, at least stand out of the way of a team leader who has the guts to stand up to the winds of communism. without reagan, we would be dancing to the tune of a russian maestro right now. do you libs not understand that such gluttony of pride would only poison our great nation? america should be like thunder, paralyzing those who seek to harm it. reagan may not have been an expert, but at least he knew how to sense when he should do most things, and that has saved our hides more than once. maybe if you guys weren't too happy to sleep on the job, we wouldn't have mud on our faces all the time. just stand out of the way and leave the protection of the nation to those with potential.

A thread I can comment on without totally making shiat up?  Cool.

The airport is nice, except they send me to secondary search EVERY time that I don't have the wife and kid with me.

The Clinton Library looks like a double-wide on stilts.

N AR - Fayetteville - Worthy of attention from outsiders
C AR - Little Rock - Tourists can go there, but please don't leave Polaski County
S AR - The "best" of Mississippi+Louisiana+AR all in one state

Criteria for the future George Dubya Bush Airport:

1. Nobody can find it for three years, and then it turns out to be a small lot with a weather balloon trailer
2. Pitched as "paying for itself" through tax cuts to the wealthy
3. The control tower is a heavily-fortified compound that is bigger than the dozen largest control towers in the world, and costs billions
4. Final total cost: $3 trillion
5. Kills 4000 Americans and 300,000 foreigners
6. Creates mortal hazards out of everyday activities like eating pretzels
7. Gropes world leaders every time they pass through
8. Leads us to say, "The world is better off without the George Dubya Bush Airport"
