The very network that ran pictures of real life carnage on a loop every hour of the week is electing not to air a fictional television show out of sensitivity. farking idiots.

TV shows are fiction
People who are over sensitive to fiction need to not own TVs.

The_Sponge: Good show, BTW....I was skeptical at first.

You and me both. Gave it a watch cause I'm just a fan of alternate takes of established canon. I also liked Mockingbird Lane.

Hell. Why not just pull everything off TV and have all the networks run nothing but Pettycoat Junction and Hee Haw reruns every night?

Abc is doing some switching around with an episode of Castle for the same reason.

While crucifying NBC here seems appropriate I think they were in a no win situation.  The episode will probably air eventually but they figured they would get less flak by pulling it for now then airing it and having various groups screaming about how NBC is insensitive to dead children.

I could see that if the plot of the episode more closely resembled as to what happened in Boston.

However......

I understood why the movie theater shoot-up scene in "Gangster Squad" was taken out after what happened in Aurora.
