Well, at least the priest could give her last rites prior to killing her for crashing his car in the stupidest manner possible.

Where I grew up in Camarillo, CA, they finally opened a Target after I moved out of town.  They opened it right next to the general aviation airport out there.  I keep waiting to see pictures of a plane sticking out of the sign.

A woman who was getting a few tips from her pastor prior to testing Thursday to restore her driver's license got the pedals mixed up and drove a car through the front doors of a department store, officials said.

Guess the old broad won't be getting that license back any time soon.

Brennan told police she had been a licensed driver for 50 years before her license was suspended for a medical reason, which she did not disclose.

Having a bag limit on lionfish is about as smart as a python season. It should be 365 wholesale slaughter of lionfish, snakeheads, python, muscovy ducks, iguanas, and hopfully manatees. They are not part of the food chain and do not belong here.

I thought that's why they have the big red concrete barriers in front of the store -- you can see one in one of the pics in TFA.  Kinda silly if there aren't enough (or if they're too far apart) to prevent people from driving into the store.

Target omits a curb in front of their stores to make it easy to bring a cart down anywhere.    This is to ensure pedestrians are safe from a car who wants to use it as an extra lane.  Drive-thru still avaliable

each received citations, hers for driving while license is suspended or revoked and his for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive his Mercury Grand Marquis.

wait a second... this occurred in a privately owned parking lot. one only needs to be licensed to operate a motor vehicle on public roads.

i used to think they gotta stop people over 100 from getting a license..

Personally, I think everyone should have re-qualify for their license every time they get it renewed.  Which doesn't restrict anyone from getting a license as long as they know what they're doing.  Plenty of elderly are probably still completely capable of driving and there's no point in restricting them if so.  This also gets the incompetent young people who lucked through their first test(s) off the road too.

Just about all large stores have given permission for law enforcement to enforce traffic laws in their parking lots.

How do old folks sometimes get the brake and gas pedals mixed up anyway?  Gas on right, brake on left.  Seems like as long as they've been driving, they wouldn't even need to think about that any more than anyone needs to consciously think about how to walk other than where they want to go.
